Level 60 boosts sell for $60 in the shop.
Ahh thank you.
I’ve never understood Blizzard’s reasoning on these things… “But bu bu but what if you eventually see them everywheres uwu?!” So the F what? This same reasoning was applied to Legos for years.
Putting it in was their mistake in the first place; they immediately enabled a significant competitive advantage for those able to obtain one at that specific time, and then told everyone else to go spin. I don’t necessarily think the bruto specifically should come back, but another gold sink AH mount should be put in.
Because there is already a strong community that put on an extra layer of tinfoil to their hats whenever they need to add to their case that EVERYTHING is somehow a plot to sell more Tokens.
What direction do you think THIS IDEA would go?
There are so many problems associated with the AH, the Bruto, bringing it back, etc etc … but this idea does nothing to help any of those discussions.
There’s a painfully obvious difference between “5 million gold for a short limited time” and “10 miilion gold whenever you want”. If you can’t see that then I don’t know what to tell you.
Yes blizzard has said that they have added the mount into the crates i have asked many people who buy crates often from youtubers to people who are earning 100s of millions of gold and are spending alot on crates everyday no one has seen it drop from these crates.
And no one on the reddit or forums have claimed to have gotten it because them saying its available from the crate is as good as them saying its available in the BMAH.
The point I’m making (which I thought was as obvious as could possibly be) is that people stress over expensive items as nothing more than “a way to sell Tokens.”
You seem to think a 10M item is fine… as long as there is no time limit.
You are just going to ignore the stampede to buy Tokens to get it asap??
I’m discounting the people that think LEGENDARIES (which barely cost 60k) where somehow DONE ON PURPOSE to sell Tokens (hahahahha… no really). But a 10M item???
Even I know people are going to buy a Token to afford that. You think the RWF crowd is small, I would bet the “people who earn 33k a week and save for 9+ years for a 10M item” is an order of magnitude lower than that.
You are just going to ignore the stampede to buy Tokens to get it asap??
As opposed to the actual stampede that happened at the end of BfA?
Nobody is going to feel a rush to get the mount if they know it’s going to be in the game forever. However, if it’s going to be removed, and you feel the pressure of a deadline, then that will cause people to feel like they need to buy tokens.

I disagree. And Blizzard is to blame.
“It’s in the game forever now! Take your time!!”
Any smart player: “ehhhhhhhh I mean… why take a chance? They could change their mind and remove it. Look how much other stuff has been removed. I better just buy some Tokens and be done with it.”
^^ that’s 90% of the crowd waiting to buy a 10M g item, from where I’m sitting.
…
Why would a smart person think that Blizzard would change their mind after they changed their mind? That sounds like a stupid person.
Because they’ve changed their mind. Before. Lots of times.
This isn’t on the players. It’s on Blizzard.

The devs want you to go to Orgrimmar/Stormwind. This is why there haven’t been auction houses in the expansion hub cities, and it’s why they don’t want a bunch of brutosaurs around.

Yeah but according to your logic people should be shaking in their boots that Blizzard is going to remove it again even though they brought it back then made it permanent.
That logic also says we should be scrambling to buy tokens to buy everything that’s in the game before all of it is removed.
They are. I know lots of people in my guild basically ignoring EVERYTHING in their lives to get EVERY trial done that first iteration.
Didn’t matter that it was coming back. Forever and ever (I’ll discount the current dynamic, no one knew that was coming— oh wait… another example of Blizz changing their mind…).
Bringing back the Mage Tower (and then making it permanent) was in response to FEEDBACK.
Ion didn’t just wake up one day and say “hurp durp MAGE TOWER BOYZ” for no reason.
Yeah… see above. I referenced those people. You’re just going to flat out PRETEND there aren’t people that blame every darned thing in this game as an excuse “to sell Tokens”???
You’re active enough on these boards to know better. Don’t stoop to being a mere contrarian to try and win a debate. Just admit you’re wrong.
After they said it was GONE FOREVER.
You aren’t good at following what’s being discussed here.
Name one thing that Blizzard has removed, then brought back due to community outcry, made it permanent, then removed it again.
Then I’ll concede you have a point.
Moving the goalposts.
The point was merely “changing their minds.” When I gave an example of that, it now becomes "show me an example where they change their minds, then change, then change, they buy me a bagel…“and then buy me a bagel.”
Nope.
edit: As a collector, I’m all-too aware of their habit of “this is gone”, only for them to bring things back in the BMAH. So they can bring “this” back in the BMAH… but not “that”?
There is NO REASON to trust Blizzard anymore on any stance they take.
