Reins of the Mighty Caravan Brutosaur in the BMAH

sold for 10Mil Gold. Never thought I would see it in the BMAH.

I don’t believe that. How would it fit in there? it’s so big.

Wouldn’t surprise me if we see a decline in that mounts worth now that Warbanks exist.

How would it be declined because of warbands? People are still going to want it for easy AH access, the mount being a brutosaur, and because it’s a status symbol to some.

AH =/= BMAH.

In previous discussions most people thought it would go for gold cap.

Warbands is a MASSIVE improvement to QOL.
Brutosaur was a QOL mount.
The little QOL Brutosaur gave you has been diluted. An AH alt is super convenient now. Access to account wide gold and an account wide bank.

Still not sure how the long boi is going to be worth less. It’s super convenient to be able to have an AH anywhere outside.

Longboi is amazing. Never once have I regretted doing that awful grind. I’d still love a smaller, vendorless version for casual use though. It’s such a great model.

I also want the ability for hunters to be able to tame brutosaurs. I can tame dinos, why not them?!

Somehow I don’t think the dilution you expect is going to materialize.

Longboi
a) Mount up anywhere mounts are allowed at anytime
b) Purchase item from AH
c) Call Katy Stamp-Whistle & get item

AH Alt Toon
a) Swap toons (already an incredible inconvenience compared to Bruto)
b) Purchase item from AH
c) Move AH alt to Warbank and depsit
d) Move AH alt back to AH
e) Swap toons
f) Summon mobile Warbank & get items

If you think the 3-step Longboi option is de-valued significantly because you now can execute a 7-step Warbank option, I think you’re grossly underestimating how lazy people are (i.e., they want instant everything, not more steps than the fewest # possible). I will give you that 7 steps is better than no AH access at all if you don’t have a Longboi, but that doesn’t devalue the Longboi for those that already have it (or those that still hope to snag it on the BMAH).

Chris Pratt hasn’t gotten to them yet.

It would be fun to have a smaller model that can transport more than one character - like a dinosaur party bus  Maybe it would sell cocktails, and play music too!

I think it’s technically true that “the value of the brutosaur will decrease,” because of the value we’ve gained with warband banks and the ability to summon the bank no matter where we are every couple hours.

However, I think the “true value” of the brutosaur was already so high above gold cap that a technical reduction in value means its true value is just somewhat less above the gold cap, and nobody will see any actual change in purchase price.

This post proudly brought to you by the complete smooth brains who vehemently insisted that it would never go for anything near 5million gold after bfa ended because (and I quote) “Everyone who wanted it would have already bought it off the vendor by then so their won’t be much demand for it in the future”.

Yes. Yes, there were actually people who were that incredibly stupid during bfa.

I was like, yea, that’s not how basic economics 101 works.

I just saw one for 1000 gold

I don’t care for the BMAH much when it comes to rare mounts.

All you need to do is put in 9,999,999 before anybody else does, and it’s yours. You can’t go above that in the BMAH, so nobody else has a chance of getting it. Literally first come first serve, which kind of sucks.

I’m going to get it as a middle finger to everyone who insisted it never come back.

Saw a post about somebody geting it from container for 150k.

That’s truly bizarre. I haven’t been following it closely, but last I heard they were still talking about how it was supposed to be occasionally appearing on the BMAH. But it hadn’t in years and Blizzard was refusing to give us an update on its status.
