im just curious on how many attempts did it take everyone to get it i was thinking of going back and farming it

To this day, I have acquired Reins of Invincible 3 times, but only for the Johnny Awesome Legion quest. Actual farming, not yet.

Something like 5 years on and off on like 10 chars
5 runs. First three, nothing. 4th run, wife and I are running it for mogs and mount attempt. It drops for me, I give it to her. Right after, we grab alts and run it again, on a hunch… this time, it dropped for her, she gave it to me. So, in 5 runs, we got it back to back. The internet broke that day.

I don’t remember the attempts. I didn’t specifically farm it very often, more just casually occasionally over a few years from Cata to the end of MoP.
Saw it drop three times! First went to the raid leader, by common agreement she deserved it most, second was ninja stolen by another raid leader, then the third was mine when it finally became soloable.
I didn’t religiously farm across all toons took me till 2018 of clearing the raid id say about ounce a week from 2012 on I’ve had to delete 2 or 3 since then that dropped. Its not too rare in my experience
In my experience ashes is WAY harder that took almost a decade of dedicated runs across 10 toons by the end.
I didnt even want it. Think its ugly. So of course I got after minimal runs and was probably farming for pets and not the mount.
Started farming during Cata, and it’s still not in my collection…
Took me years, but I was also really inconsistent about it so I can’t begin to tell you how many total attempts.
I still dont even have the headless horseman’s mount and ive been trying to get it ever since the 1st event.
Took me 100 attempts.
i got ashes of a’lar and onyxia mount on same day, years ago.
When I started actually farming for it I got it on the 2nd try.
I tried for a little while, but I realized I wouldnt be able to see it.

Those were 2 that took me longest to get. Ony was especially annoying since it was last one I needed for emerald drake
Saw it drop a few times when it was current. Never got it.
Otherwise never farmed it.
Use all your alts, prob took me over 150 tries.

I got mimiron’s head and then invincible one day right after the next.
Still farming it. Ran it every reset on 5 characters for 2 and a half years straight and nothing. Now I run it every reset on 2 characters cause I’ve grown to hate icc and can’t bring myself to do it more than that.
