Hello, I’m thinking about crafting Reign of Endless Kings legendary but to wear it as ret, is it still possible to do it?
Yes. It can be a strong option in PvP if you can predict when you’re going to procc it
Thank you

Honestly it will be a must have with this wog nerf. I’ll be making this as my second legendary. We will drop like flies in one cc chain on healer with this nerf.
Admittedly I don’t feel good about using a prot legendary. I just want to use Final Verdict, but with the nerfs and more nerfs to come. Kinda feels like Reign of Endless Kings is gonna be mandatory for pvp.
If you think the wog nerf was high you should do some basic math honestly.
REIGN OF ENDLESS KINGS i thought its prot only ? ,that mean i can use any legendary for any spec ?
Uh, 20% is huge. That’s 1/5th, if you were missing 1/5th of your body, that would be equivalent to missing your leg and then some.
Anyone know if it procs blessing of the forgotten queen PvP talent for prot?
Goes from 28k to 23k, its still bonker strong.
The legendary is worth having into quite a few comps. Keep in mind though, if you never make it to the sub 20% threshold, it doesn’t proc. So if you get bursted down from like 30% to 0, you won’t get the proc.
So, pre-crit, since crits aren’t reliable, WoG with my 210 gear heals for *15,360.736 at reliably most. (( Avenging Wrath + Healing Hands at 20% HP + Shielding Words.))
At 20% reduction, this is 12288. That’s 3000 healing shaved off, that is a huge amount. That is an entire Templar’s Verdict removed. This is not small by any means.
Now let’s compare this baseline.
A baseline WoG is 8205.6 … and reduced WoG is 6564.48. That’s still a significant amount, roughly the damage of Blade of Justice. This is a very big nerf to anyone who doesn’t use healing hands.
Am I saying Paladins are suddenly going to suck because of it? No. But you can’t act like this is not significant. This is very significant.
the base wog doesnt matter if you’re always gonna have between 1 to 70% increased effectiveness on wog with healing hands.
So compairing 28k to 23k crit with wings still gonna top you off easily.
Plus, the healing disparity only goes UP if you use Healing Hands.
I agree that they didnt target the right thing, should’ve hit healing hands, but saying the 20% nerf is huge, nah. It’s very soft specially when I expected something bigger.
It’s a big nerf considering top performer like Arms and WW were untouched.
Reign of Endless Kinds may be a trap though. Denying yourself a great legendary like FV will make it less likely to finish off your opponent.
I’ve been in enough situations where I’ve healed myself by the skin of my teeth, 3000 HP - 1500 HP is very significant, especially for a heal.
By the same logic you could call Mortal Strike, a literal 25% healing reduction, as inconsequential. And no one agrees with that assessment.
I said the nerf was soft, and said it wasnt huge. It’s significant but it won’t kill the viability of the spec at all.
Sephuz is better than Final Verdict damage wise
You’re setting your sights high if you think anything can “kill” any spec in Arenas. What it can change is competitiveness.
This, though FV has gotten me some kills I wouldn’t of otherwise gotten due to the range. I prefer FV myself, just feels better. I do have FV, Sephuz, and Endless Kings all made though, and swap them out depending on the situation.
