Made a level 1 priest, bought boost, applied to my toon, accepted – icon goes away, character is still level 1. Switch server, and back to the boosted toon server, it goes to character create screen of a random race/class - you can complete this, but it doesn’t help, you can also press ‘back’ and see the toon on the character select, (boost gone still)… so I tried a cache clear on blizz files, no workie still - tried to delete toon, doesn’t let me - tried the work around where you make a level 1 toon, log in, log out, delete cache, etc. . . I even tried another method I saw in a bug listing “Preorder level boost is broken” in the comments, or linked somewhere, to refund the boost - which locks the account, and re-buy the boost to unlock and apply to the account … which also didn’t work,
AS AN ASIDE –
When trying to unlock, it mentions that the toon is boosting to 80 vs. lv85 which was purchased - I think someone mixed up the boost packages and applied the lv80 one to the store for MOP classic or something, which bugs it out… IDK, just seems maybe relevant… but yeah, buzz kill, was going to boost and twink tonight, boooooooooo - fix please.
Also happening to me and a friend who have both boosted 4 hours ago with the same issues you are having above. Still waiting…
Same issue is happening to me, boosted a character yesterday and its still showing boost in progress.
Same thing happened to me. Boosted a toon 5hrs ago and I get “You cannot log in until the character boost process you recently initiated is complete.”
Same here, boosted my lvl72 warrior but says its still boosting
Found a thread where this happened back early june so this is a repeat issue
Any update Blizzard? You have people paying large sums of money for a service that is broken and in some cases even stopping people from playing who didn’t boost their level 1 but their main character making it so they can’t play the game right now as the weekend approaches…
This was Blizzards laughable response to my ticket asking for a resolution on the boost problem. Honestly, how this was typed with a straight face asking me to get the community or a local technician to fix the issue with their boosting service not working is a joke.

It’s like… you want to yell and be like “REAL PERSON, PLEASE!” this automated one-size-fits-all AI approach to tickets from real people, with real specific issues that are game breaking / not fixable by the end user is really lame at this rate.
