Regarding the "Warcraft Story"

This site Legit? Assuming it is, but having issues with it.

For some reason I keep getting the following even after logging in and out.

  • The character has been inactive, if this is your profile, try logging in and out.
    (Logged in and out several times).

  • The character name or realm was spelled incorrectly. (Nope.)

  • The character has been impacted by a process such as realm transfer or faction change. (Nope again.)

  • The character may have been deleted. (…Uh right. Ok then. But no.)

  • An illusion. What are you hiding? (Really bloody annoying. What causes this?)

  • The character is not currently supported. (What exactly does this mean?)

Would love to use the site and see what happens, but I can’t without some Blizzard help it seems.
Looks like the Armory has me blocked / hidden or something. A little help would be great.

Well, it’s being pushed by Blizzard on Twitter, and the site is using Blizzard’s API. Mine times out at 44%, but from what I read, it’s being hammered by requests.

Mine doesn’t even load is the issue. It simply cannot find the character. Happens for all my chars for some reason.

It’s like my profile / armory is being concealed by Blizzard for some reason, when it shouldn’t be.

have tried multiple characters, and different browsers as well

Classy. So it was sent to the bug report section. The same bug report forum where we have 4 year old bugs involving blockades and WoD Bugs and countless other incorrect things. CS should of just locked the thread.

Update:

Since I am aware of the likely scenario that this ‘bug’ would never be resolved, or even garner a brief reply from someone to help other players in similar situations. I went ahead and did some digging on my end into this particular matter to find an answer to this matter.

If you are getting the above error like I was, it appears what you will need to do to correct it, is to log in to the Account Page. Once there click on Privacy / Communication’s Tab and scroll down to Game Data And Profile Privacy. Make sure that Share Game Data is ENABLED, as it appears this is how the info on your character is generated and released. Mind you this will also release your data to other websites such as say check.pvp.

I hate the bug report forum because you can sometimes just ask a question and your thread can get sent here. to never get a response or answer to your question. and never hear about your bug again.

Well, it guarantees the issue will be seen by QA and the devs. Generally they don’t respond unless they have more questions.
