Do you need to be honored with Bloodsail while also having exalted with Booty bay? Or can you just hit honored with them and then grind out the Goblin reps? I ask because Getting rep with Goblins tanks your Bloodsail rep.
Also, for the Ravenholdt reps. Do you need to do this rep on a Rogue? Or is it possible to hit max rep with them on another class?

I read that there’s a bloodsail quest you can do that loweres the guard’s levels. You can apparently kill all the other npc’s in there for decent rep.
Not sure if it’s still a thing though. But could also make it easier to travel through BB.
You only need to hit honoured with Bloodsail. You don’t have to preserve it. Feel free to betray them to get a head start on repairing the goblin reps. If you want to keep your Bloodsail rep while fixing the goblins, grind pirates in Tanaris.
Ravenholdt can be done on any class, it just needs the help of a rogue to pickpocket the boxes.

Yeah, because I’m an idiot I went ahead and sent Bloodsail to exalted back in OG Wrath, and spent decades putting off the grind of getting the goblin reps to exalted simultaneously. As in, I only finished it about 2 years ago when I found a raid group in Tanaris.
But seeing that Bloodsail exalted and goblins x4 exalted at the same time in the reputation panel is oh-so-satisfying.
How do you go about getting both simultaneously? Is there certain mobs you can grind that don’t lower Booty Bay rep?
Bloodsail always butchers the goblin rep. That’s why you have to do it first. After that you can kill pirates in Tanaris or Barrens, or Venture Co in Stranglethorn, to up your goblin rep without lowering Bloodsail.
And yes, it’s a long haul of a grind.
Ah, okay. I’ll prob just do part of the rep grind, as we don’t have too long before MoP.
The worst part looks like it’s going to be Ravenholdt. All those dang lockboxes.
The goblin grind is pretty rough. I did it in WotLK as a prot warrior, so gathering the guards up was pretty easy. I don’t know how much harder (or easier?) it is in Cata onward.
If you haven’t finished the Cata revamp or the Booty Bay questline where you infiltrate the Bloodsail, you can use the final stage of that questline. The area is phased and the goblin guards are level 35, but still give rep. Use that to get to honored.

It’s worse if you want to open the boxes yourself (to check for super rare epics worth a ton of gold) before turning them in.
Level a rogue of your own to do it, at any rate. Don’t buy the boxes from someone. If you pick pocket and kill the mobs before resetting you’ll make up some decent coin in the mean time.
