Between unholy and frost, which do y’all consider fun? Ive been playing unholy because it’s easy to get proper stats, kills decently fast, but I am aware of frost being a complete beast lately.
What’re y’all’s takes?
Ps. I know fun is subjective. Just curious what y’all are finding fun

At this point, Unholy, but this is the forums nothing is fun to them, its all parses and rankings and a big stick swinging contest.
I like mashing Obliterates as much as I like mashing your mother.

Do you prefer a more front-loaded or DoT-style combat method?
More proc-based or maintenance?
Unholy is more like a melee warlock while frost is more of a magic warrior, and UH can somewhat fight mid-range as a pseudo ranged like Ret while frost is pretty much exclusively in your face.
I find UH a bit more fun due to the slightly higher complexity and less reliance on killing machine procs, but frost is thematically cooler. (Blood is the best, though.)
I might be doing something wrong, but my ele shaman who is similarly geared, just two piece bonus, kills way way WAY faster and does more damage faster than my dk can do -_-
Depends on build variants. My order is this:
I generally consider Unholy to be boring. I can play it well, but the whole build up diseases thing then pop them just doesn’t resonate with me. The spec just doesn’t -feel- powerful or exciting. I had a freaking blast with frost before Blizzard went back on their word and invalidated any non breath build again. The shattering/oblit build just felt brutal and the fast pace made me feel like I was annihilating things. Someone said Blizzard probably got mad people were going that route despite Breath builds being ahead still being the reason for the nerf which wouldn’t surprise me.
