It’s not a new power system. It’s just a ring with effects instead of secondary stats. It will be replaced like any other piece of gear next season. It’s optional.

I have like 1k primals from doing the content im already doing… the gold, is already easy to make and i dont think they are going to same route as SL calling
you think renown is going to be 10.0 only? nah, we got 2 more years of incremental increases to renown

Even if they do add it daily, it wont grant you as much rep, recourses as you would bi weekly, to make sure it time gated

This is less optional than conduits. And the general consensus among forum whiners was that Venari rep was “mandatory” (even if it amounted to less than a 0.1% power bump). This ring is definitely strong than that, pending further tuning.
This is borrowed power in the rawest sense - some BIS thing tied to a specific piece of content coming out of nowhere that we have to do if we want our character to feel powerful that will eventually be stripped away.

I think it’s too early to call it BiS, at least until we see tentative tuning.
Why not? Renown requires 2x more rep than the old rep system. On top of wqs giving less rep. Making it daily will just make it a bit more in line with how it used to be.

This item is a “cantrip” as well as Blizzard has stated they use inflated ilvls to signal that this item is intended to be more powerful than whatever else you might be using. And considering the level of customization present in these items, there’s very little chance this whiffs completely unless they decide internally that they don’t want these to be BIS and adjust the ilvl and their design paradigm accordingly (which is unlikely).

I think we need more details to see if the effects end up being stronger than plain stats for a given spec.
Remember, it’s not secondary stats and stone sockets, it’s (currently) just stone sockets.

Except you can get rep from other sources not only from WQ unlike the dailys
Sure but those little events are rubbish and often require you to wait hours to attend them.
I’d rather dailies that let me do them when I want and not feel painfully unrewarding.
They don’t really make up for the difference unless you attend a lot of them too.
Well maybe you should do some research where you can get rep , theres quests, rares, events, bosses
Hope so. Would be pretty pointless if renoun didn’t increase each major patch.
