Refunding Shadowlands

Anyone thinking about it?

The last minute mythic+ gear nerfs makes gearing incredibly slow and practically pointless. Its like they timed the weekly raid loot to the extent of patch life so you gear up in time to start over.

I asked for a refund but was denied because the package I purchased with bnet came with game time and they claimed I used the game time already therefore ineligible for a refund.

If i used my visa I would definitely dispute the transaction.

Serves as a lesson to always wait until the last minute to pre-order, or don’t pre-order at all, especially with WoW expansions.

Nope.

I have not pre-purchased, but did buy a pre-purchase for my daughter. She is more interested in getting a Dark Iron Dwarf than actually playing Shadowlands, i think.

Im hyped to jump into a new expansion and see new zones and stories. New quests. New dungeons and raids. New world quests.

Nope. I’m actually quite happy with the design direction.

Not at all. Shadowlands looks great to me, I’m excited for the next new age!

Not asking for a refund. Loot changes are to be expected in any patch. As far as outrage goes, this isn’t even worthy of thinking about in my opinion.

New quests? You honestly think you wont be collecting boar livers or basilisk bones?

I’m sorry, but refunding over a 3 ilvl difference is kind of hilarious.

If only there was a way to get raid level gear without being able to farm mythic plus for it!

I am completely fine with the hardest content giving the best quality loot.

I like the change personally. I know a lot of people hate it but with the vault changes we will be able to get 226 pieces easily now since we get a choice of 3 instead of 1. On top of that gear is harder to come by across the board and they are really changing the issue people had with gear flying at you every which way but most of it is useless.

I like all aspects of the game, I do M+, Arena, and Raiding so I think this change is good for the overall health of the game. I think that for hardcore M+ players it’s an unfortunate nerf to gearing and I understand why they are upset, but overall I think it was a good change.

Don’t tell us. Just do it. I don’t know you.

Bye? See ya till after the launch and the itch makes you come back.

I’ve not once contemplated a refund as I’ve enjoyed everything they’ve showed in alpha, beta and on the ptr. I’m thoroughly excited for the pre-patch and the expansion release next month.

Gone are the days where you need to stand in line for 3 hours to make sure you get a copy of the expansion. Maybe next time just wait until closer to release before pre-purchasing again.

I’m actually very excited for the new content, and I think the new adjustments to loot are improvements for the long haul. I am absolutely good with the hardest content giving the highest gear rewards, and I’m not even a little clenched up.

If I’m angry about anything with Shadowlands, it’s that they’ve done neither jack nor squat for fishing. So…there’s that.

You can say the same for anything in the game.
New dungeons? You honestly think you won’t be killing trash and bosses?
New gear? You honestly think you won’t be equipping it and getting different stats?

Awww, people are upset because they think Mythic+ is the only end-game content in the game…

I find the nerf actually a good thing. Competative, yes, but is also spammable, which means you can get geared up pretty fast, depending on how many Mythic+ dungeons you spam. Raiding, isn’t spammable, because you got either a weekly lockout or a weekly loot lockout.

Exactly. All the apoplectic pearl clutching this morning is bringing out the “get off my lawn” old lady parts of my personality.

No not even a bit… You wouldn’t have lasted in the older days of raiding if you got a problem with them not making it just rain new purples lol Sometimes you’d enter a new raid with gear that was before the LAST raids time. But even with these changes it’ll still be easier then it use to be in the older times.
