Seriously wondering the same thing. Looking at prices on my server:
Refulgent Crystal(Tier1): 12g
Storm Dust(Tier1): 18g
Gleaming Shard(Tier1): 60g.
The only reason gleaming shards are 60g is because they break down into 3 storm dust when you fully spec into disenchanting.
We either need a Refulgent shatter or much more common magic/rare BoP items to drop for Disenchant purposes like previous expansions.
