Redwood Arathi Campaign [RP-PvP]

Hello friends!

I would like to take this time to tease everyone on a RP campaign the Redwood hope put on in Arathi. While it still must be fleshed out some more, I have an outline prepared seeing if there would be any interest.

It would start 11/14 and end right around 12/9 right before 8.1 launches, giving everyone the chance to hop right back on that grind.

The first week, 11/14, would be Horde only in Stonetalon and Ogrimmar prepping while the next two weeks will be in Arathi. One week dedicated to owning Arathi as the Horde, one week dedicated to, well, not owning it.

Each week will have their main events, about 2 each. One week, when we control it, will be more RP based with less organized RP-PvP. However, another week when the Horde does not control the zone, it will be more WPvP based.

If you have an interest in joining us, please let me know on here. I will be updating this post with the actual campaign some time next week.

Earth Mother guide you all (except for the Alliance) and hope to hear from you soon.

Abrahof,

Sounds like a great event and it was a good post !!!

just saying...………

kk
I get the rp part of it... but don't understand the schedule... u saying wen the warfront is owned by horde ur gona rp… land wen it is owned by alliance ur gona rp pvp? or is this gona be in the alternate version of arathi that doesn't concern the warfront... I show interest, but one lack info, and two probably have a bad schedule to be any lead of any kind, for me it would be more of I happen to be home online and see it sort of thing...

but don't understand the schedule

What I had in mind was this when it came to the Warfronts.

After the first week, starting the 26th, one of the two factions will control Arathi. The dates may not line up perfect, and thats okay, but the idea is who ever will own the zone that week the most is the pair of quests/events we will go with.

For exmaple:
If the Horde controls Arathi until the 26th, the day after, we will go with the Alliance control quests since they will have it longer that particular week. It would make more sense and provide a better environment for those quests. We wouldnt want to defend the farm because the Horde is attacking, and the Alliance quests to attack it would no longer be active.

If the Horde gained control the day prior, we would go with the Horde quests that week as they would own it longer and would make no sense to supply a fully stocked and maintained stronghold.

Now, it does run the risk of switching in the middle of the week and that is fine, the idea is to try and use who controls it just as a back drop. Any of these quests can be done regardless of who owns it. Again, control of the zone just provides a better RP environment and opportunities for what is in mind.

Its a bit confusing, but I wanted to try something a bit more unique and use Blizz's system as part of our story. It may turn out great, it may not turn out so great. However, that is the risk you run when trying new things.
((Abrahof and RWT always put on good events. Keep up the good work guys.))
This is awesome!
