I started leveling a level 50 Demon Hunter but the quests are giving greatly reduced experience.
Maw introduction quests give almost no experience (0.2%)

I tried doing BFA content and the experience is also reduced.
Dungeon finders, world quests, everything
Do you have shadowlands? you need to be leveling there post 50 for full xp gains
This is an alt character, if I didnt have shadowlands it should give no experience. In this case it’s greatly reduced.
Both quests above are from SL, in the maw introduction questline
I guess make a post in Bug Reports, not much can be done here as QA doesn’t come to the CS forums for reports.
You can try asking the General subforum to see if other people are having the same problem and hopefully the devs can see it also.
That definitely seems incorrect. The Wowhead XP quantity seems more in line with what I remember getting on several alts. I always gained a level once finished. I agree about posting in bug reports, although looks like someone already did:
