Reduced AFK time

Be careful, Blizzard has significantly lowered allowed AFK times on Full realms to reduce Queue times. You will be automatically kicked out to the login screen at the back of the queue if you are AFK for just a bit too long.

To prevent this, make sure you leave the table to go move your character around for a bit frequently, even if it’s a short dinner!

You’re the reason there are queues…

Just log off the game.

I didn’t think such a take could get you a like, but here we are. You blame people for trying to save 2 hours of their times? It’s the equivalent of blaming traffic on people having to go places rather than the poorly designed urban infrastructure. It’s like blaming a trample of black Friday goers rather than the store who did everything to cause the issue. I could go on but here’s a last example to help you realize what you’re saying:

random person to an obese person:
“You’re the reason why there is so much diabetes, just stop eating so much”

def works but i think blizzard also ruled that against tos since its not a human pushing it

doesnt the drinking bird require it to be dipping into a glass of water? how does this work

Then don’t be fooking afk ughhhhh. Apparently you are apart of the issue now now now now now get a tissue for your ignorance

You’re the person that joins from a feeder lane and tries to muscle yourself into traffic as soon as possible, aren’t you?

You’re the person at a buffet that will empty a pan onto your plate the minute they bring it out, aren’t you?

You’re the person that squeezes their way into the front of a line, even though those people have been waiting for a long time, aren’t you?

You’re the problem. Stop deflecting onto others when you are obviously a horribly selfish person.

Get him, Blizz!

I am not, but I am not foolish enough to blame the players of the game, but rather the game. You imply that all blame lies on the player and whatever devious method they may employ to avoid problem created by Blizzard. It’s a short sighted view that serves no one.

Also, here’s a fun one, where in any of my post do I claim that I do the things you accuse me of? Simply because I state to leave your dinner table and go move your character does not mean it is what I do. In fact, for me to know the AFK timer has been reduced mean I had to experience it first hand, no? It would mean I didn’t get away from the dinner table, no?

To me, this solidify your narrow view and your zeal in stating your opinion toward others, accusing them of what you think they do that is wrong and then insulting them through name calling, one of the lowest form of counter argument, barely above throwing your poop around while screaming loudly. Is this what you are?

Obese people aren’t the reason for high diabetes rates?

You could blame faulty genetics and the human nature for diabetes. You could blame poverty and the inflation rate for it. You could blame food addiction and mental health for it. You could probably go down to the quantum level if you really wanted.

My opinion is that it is highly simplistic to blame the common folks rather than the food manufacturer. Using psychologist, chemist, engineers, doctors, publicist and billions of dollar to push a product, they are targeting a vulnerable crowd with highly addictive substances which can cause diabetes. Now obviously it’s a whole other debate, but I do think the fundamental principle still applies, blaming the players for their behavior is simplistic, and the developers/publisher’s decision to avoid using an infrastructure which would avoid such issues is what should be blamed.

TLDR; Don’t hate the player, hate the game.

It doesn’t work, it’s a Simpsons reference from an episode where Homer uses a drinking bird to automate his job.

I mean… You’re not wrong though?

You 100% can blame a mob of shoppers for trampling people. That’s not the store’s problem. That’s a problem caused by the customers.

Also, you’re significantly more likely to get diabetes if you’re over weight. So… That correlation is kind of right. If you want to lessen the effect of diabetes… Lose weight.

The guy’s not wrong. If you want less queue times, log out when you’re not playing.

cool beans

it’s easy to blame the apparent effect and not the underlying cause causing it (which the general public is often too blind to even see)

Actually… passing everyone and cutting people off at the last second while merging is the right way to make the lines go faster and clear up traffic look it up

…But that’s not wrong though.

It’s just looking at the problem on a surface level. It doesn’t solve it when the root of it are deep. You don’t just get rid of weed by cutting off the top. Not calling people weed here, it’s an analogy.
