Adding layers probably made sense at the beginning of Phase 2 but it has killed world interactions between factions and within factions.
Please reduce the amount of layers so World PVP can be fun again. There’s no one out there.

Spot on. The whole point of a PVP server is for there to be PVP! Layers kill it. Blizzard, please get rid of the layers. When you did it the game became a lot more fun. Do it again.

I mean really. What’s the f****** point of a massively multiplayer online role-playing game if there aren’t any other players in the zones you’re in. Layers I’m sure have a reason in your architecture. We have all seen a lot more people in the world without them. Please get rid of them.

there are way too many layers. even in the middle of the night at 3am when the server is dead, and only 20 people in dalaran… your friends are STILL layered from you.
It’s really impacting World PVP on PVP servers. The people want to PVP, give them PVP.

going from 1 to 4 layers instantly made the world feel dead when before it felt like an active busy game, I made friends on 1 layer. 4 or more layers makes it feel like a single player game and thats just not what i’m looking for

Please reduce the amount of layers. On Grobbulus, it’s very hard to run into people in the open world.
The fact there’s any layers now is ridiculous. They were supposed to be gone forever over three years ago.

They turned them back on without a word and then left them on for TBC release.
The playerbase got slow boiled and they didnt care anymore. Everyone was caught up in the new xpac rush and they snuck it in there along with the level boost because “It’s not classic” lol. They immediately jumped off that no changes love letter to the community the MOMENT they decided to make TBC.
Y’all got your love letter in vanilla, now its back to milking them udders.

Are we layering Bloodsail now? Yesterday got a huge lag spike, the players near me at the vendor faded out and popped back. I mentioned it in case it was just me but they said the same happened to them. Sure, the lower level areas are really busy, but why do we need this?
Do era servers have layering? Seems like there are a hundred lowbies in the Barrens chasing the same quest mobs 
Goblin characters are not classic

The layers got dropped before Ulduar dropped, then they re-added them. It sucks. I want to see a world full of people I can interact with.
