Red eyes for Thalassians

I mean why not?

Let’s just have Blizzard give you guys everything, green eyes, Silvermoon city, everything. Every day it’s a new demand from the “high” elves for another new feature, usually taken from the Blood Elves.

Just “want! want! want!”

I’m surprised this thread has gone on this long. It’s a simple answer why void elves don’t have green.

The green in blood elves was a side effect of fel radiation which they were using to cope until they fixed the Sunwell. Over time that started fading away in some people allowing them to go back to blue or adopt a new gold, from the Sunwell’s Light half.

Void elves are forcefully infused with a lot of Void energy. They don’t classify as normal elves anymore, they’re strictly Void tainted beings. So their eyes are going to reflect the Void colors which is much more dominant than remote traces of fel energy.

Red eyes have only ever been present in undead elves, namely Sylvanas and her dark rangers. Not living ones.

Is there any proof that there were batches after the first?

Like, there are scholars present, and they’re certainly there to research void magic, but I don’t remember seeing any of them preparing to undergo/actively undergoing some sort of “become a void elf” ritual.

You’re proof cause you were able to make a character

You see void Elves NPCs throughout BfA

Not sure this counts as, ‘Proof.’ I mean, the Forsaken don’t have Val’kyr to add to their numbers anymore, and character creation hasn’t been disabled for them.

You’ve got to be kidding.

So where are the… “Wider” humans of eastern kingdoms at? Prior to BfA

Show us if we were able to be one

Oh dear. You were serious?

That sucks.

There was still Valkyr around even before their final deaths in SoD

You had a Valkyr to raise new dead in BfA

So you have nothing to prove

Alright then

There would be large, skinny and regular humans everywhere in the world. It’s just showcased in Kul Tiras because Blizz didn’t make those kinds of models until BfA. Prior to that there was only one kind of human model they had designed.

The Kul Tirans are not related to the Drust or anything else. They’re standard humans like anywhere else. What happens in gameplay doesn’t necessarily mean it’s a lore restriction. Those two don’t always match up.

As of Shadowlands, the Val’kyr left, gone with Sylvanas. I can still make a Forsaken despite them having no way to make new Forsaken.

There were some in Northrend too.

Honestly, I think just give the Blood Elf model to the Forsaken as a toggle selection and give them some red eye options. Hell, throw in the human model too.

I know it won’t happen in 9.2, but I hope we can have some more customization options thrown into Void/Blood elves that are shared between the two and some unique ones. Secondly, Zandalari and Dark Irons should hopefully be next on the allied race customization option wave.

Which is why they will most likely make Calia new leader of the forsaken

New undead will most likely be raised the same way she was, light touched or whatever

If they make a light theme expansion next I’m sure they’ll cover that loophole

That’s… quite the leap you’re making. A bit exaggerated, no?

Tbh, even Lor’themar invited Alleria to visit the sunwell since it was her homeland and they’re all children of Silvermoon.

I’m not sure if this exile extended to the “silver covenant” high elves. Who knows

Isn’t there a thread for this?

It’s called “Ultra Mega Superduper Hardcore Flex Blood Elves Thread” where they only talk about red eyes lately.

I am not against it, but there is no need for another thread being flooded with people disagreeing with you.

Prove yours?

Devs have said they do have Drust blood and that they don’t so…

Either way they’re still human.

Kul’tirans come in three sizes and nothing would stop blizzard from adding all three sizes to SW humans.

Also Gerald Green is a wrath big boy.

Well he’s not green. I am disappointed.

I want a refund. Thanks.

are you trying to say big boned people are species? you demon.

Speaking as someone who wanted High Elves from the Silver Covenant as an Allied Race, I do not want Silvermoon, Quel’Thalas, or any part of that, and I really don’t get the people who do. It ignores one of the most defining aspects of High Elf lore.

I’m more than happy to have Dalaran as the capital of the High Elves. Khadgar can go pretend to be the new Guardian in Karazhan. Add a High Elf as the next head of the Council of Six.
