So literally every class has this thing where they can just regenerate health. Right…
Let’s just remove all possible difficulties and roughnesses in the game.
It says “prepare some food and have a meal” - Okay. Where does the food come from? My bags? Where is my character carrying these things? It’s a spell. In my spell book. And I’m not a mage. And I’m conjuring food out of thin air in order to magically heal myself for 50% of my health.
It started with removing hunter ammo 15 years ago. Now we’re at Recuperate, lol.

Its a helpful boon to the game. It doesnt hurt anything. If you dont like it don’t use it.

I mean, the game is called an MMORPG. RPG. Roleplaying game.
It’s not an ARCADE game, or a lobby game.
Yes mage. Mages do that.
It hurts the game.

You still haven’t gotten over when they stopped requiring us to have flint, tinder and wood to start a fire, right?

These are the same people that can’t handle walking two feet without getting on a mount and flying there.

It’s only out of combat. I fail to see the problem.
SWTOR has had this since day one. But theirs isn’t half baked. It actually restores power resources too.

Yep, still angry about that

It’s Blizzard’s fault really. If food items were more useful maybe I would actually use them instead of my infinite magic food

I can’t disagree. Makes a mage table feel pointless. Makes eating food and drinking pointless.
It makes the game easier for sure, but imo at a loss of immersion.

I levelled my new monk without using mounts or heirlooms, and many gear slots went unfilled, because leveling is just way too easy now

As a tank I legit can’t think of the last time food even came close to healing me fully outside of mage food

Does it regen mana too? If so I’m guessing this is a bandaid for when a healer is oom and forgot to bring drink? Idk I’m just guessing here, never used it before or even heard about it until I just saw it one day.

No it doesn’t. Eat food or use Recuperate. There is no difference. It’s out of combat regen that other MMORPGs have had for ages.

What’s really crazy is that we don’t have to stop and take pee and poop breaks for our characters. I mean, everybody poops, right?

Dude, I’m a Rogue and normal food doesn’t come close to healing my character to full. We outpaced the stuff from vendors, and even cooked food, last patch.

What does being an RPG have to do with this? Does Final Fantasy have starvation, where does Clouds water come from? Persona likes the full heal after battle, oh my gosh the wounds. And if those are too far east for you even BG3 has magic pockets and me hauling around hundreds of pounds of swords.

I leveled 4 toons to 80 in one week a couple weeks ago.
One one hand I loved getting them to 80 so fast. On the other I don’t feel as “connected” to them like I do characters I have spent countless hours on.
