Im not sure if this is the right fourm or not for something like this. But just trying to see if anyone has any advice or not.
A couple months back, my discord account got hacked overnight and was spamming NSFW links in all the servers i was in. I got control of it again when i woke up and put on my 2factor authentication and it’s been fine since.
I got banned from the recruitment discord for it and now, having to switch work schedules i was hoping to be able to find a place to raid. Not being able to use that discord is going to make it so much harder to find something to fit the schedule I’ll be on. Does anyone know of any ways to go about contacting anyone from the discord to kind of make my case? Itd probably be the end of my wow career if not, i just won’t have the drive any more if i can’t find a stable raid each week, which i don’t want to happen 
Why not just make a different Discord?
It’s not their Discord server.
I just use the Recruitment thing in Raider.io, didn’t know there was a specific discord for guild recruitment.
Yeah, just make a new account.
I tried, when i click the invite link it says it “expired” even though it was fresh from a friend. It’s almost like an IP ban. But i didn’t think that was possible

Ah, not sure then. Yeah Id try messaging a mod and explaining your situation.
Does a lot of people use that? Been wanting to find some M+ btags but just assumed it was dead like every other LFG tool.

Oof. You’re between a rock and a hard place. What I would do is create a separate account and network around the discord channel you were just in. Get ahold of the moderators or admins. BE NICE AND UP FRONT! Explain to them your situation.
However, don’t expect too much sympathy. They can claim you’re dodging a ban hammer along with not properly securing your account. You must take responsibility for your actions.

Actually, I’m pretty sure it is. I can’t remember if it’s a mod or the base Discord that does that.
