Hey there, been looking to potentially get back to the RP scene and came across you guys as night elves have been one of my absolute favorite races since WC3.
Though I dread to ask this question: what’s your guys’ stance on Demon Hunters?
You guys didn’t seem to specify, and I know most Kaldorei guilds typically seem to go with “Absolutely no DKs/DHs” (and often times mages).
Just to leave a little insight, the potential character I had is of course a Demon Hunter, but I’m not really a fan of the edgier guilds and circles DHs normally flock to, and this character is more so looking to “re-integrate” into Kaldorei society as he’s in a bit of a slump with the existential crisis of “Well, the Legion’s gone. What do I do now?” and really not a fan of hanging out in SW with my nelf characters, especially when half the other nelf RPers in SW just kinda RP as “purple humans” as I like my nelf RP to be more cultural/traditionalist, so you guys piqued my interest in that regard.
But hey, if not, I fully understand and my feelings won’t be hurt! Might look back to you guys in the future with a different character otherwise!

The short answer is: Tentative maybe
The acceptance of demon hunters and death knights are -very- much on a case by case basis. As I’m sure you well know, most kaldorei aren’t too fond of those guys, and at least for what I can claim of my character, such still holds true. I definitely cannot guarantee your character would be granted admittance, but it hinges on a few things. First impressions are huge
So it depends! I don’t want to throw down a blanket statement yes or no, but if you’d like, you can pop into our discord and we can discuss, and if it doesn’t work out with the demon hunter, you’re more than welcome to hang around and throw in a different character if you’re still interested!

I would be brand new to RP and I have not played on a retail server in a long time, but I absolutely love night elves, the natural scenery, and can learn more about their lore. It sounds fun to join in on this, though I have some anxiety about being new and failing miserably. Would it be OK for me to hang out and learn a bit and do my best to contribute? If so, I will make a new character and start working on it.
