Recruiting the storm drakes

Wrathion is apparently going to recruit them in 10.2. Would this make Odyn angry? Or at least have him take interest in the Dragon Isles? I mean the other keepers could show up for Tyr’s return.

Over on MMO-Champion the following scenario was data-mined
Storm the Halls of Valor

  • 01: Pass Hymdall (New) - Defeat Hymdall.
  • 02: Pass Eyir (New) - Pass Eyir and her shield maidens.
  • 03: Confront Odyn (New) - Confront Odyn.
  • 04: Depart the Halls of Valor (New) - Speak with Vyranoth

So it’s very possible that Odyn protests Wrathion and Vyranoth from recruiting “his” storm dragons and thus a confrontation.

Can we hit him hard enough to send him and his tacky home back to Marvel’s Thor where he belongs?

It’s too bad we got his missing eye back for him, we could’ve punched him in the other one and took him out for a while.

I am hoping Vyranoth wrecks him and shows she is still strongly anti-Titan.

I’m with Odyn on this one. Wraithion can get in line. If he wants a stormdrake he can go farm Tol Barad rep like the rest of us.

Or it’s another “Prove your worth/Valor!” before he relents and pledges their aid, cause the Thorignir themselves seem very devoted to the Valarjar so it would be weird for the quest to be framed like we are starting a war with the Valarjar for them and taking the Thorignir against their will.

Also I wonder how or if there will be unique version of this quest if you are the Battlelord

Odyn absolutely hates the flights, so I cannot imagine he would relent to aid them unless… I guess?.. Tyr had been rebooted and could mediate somehow.

Crazy idea. If there is another content patch in 10.3. What if Odyn is the final boss of Dragonflight? He was against the aspects and the flights from being a thing. Would he try and step in and prevent it from happening again?

Edit:

So the quest is on the PTR now. The fact that the final cutscene is not available yet is interesting. We reduce Odyn to 80% a cutscene plays and we are back in the Dream. With the storm drakes helping us. I knew this was going to piss Odyn off.

Maybe the final patch is defending Vyranoth from Odyn? He might assault the Primalist bases, wherever that is.
