my friend used my link and it used accounts #1 and #2 but not his main account where he was gonna buy a subscription and he cant pick his main one how does he fix this
I’m not seeing any current links at the moment, Hogwash. Can you give me the name/realm of a character on your friend’s account? It can be from any of their licenses, even an inactive one. I just need it as as reference.

So, in order to qualify to be recruited for the Recruit a Friend promotion it either needs to be a new WoW license or one that has not been active for 2 years.
When they click the link they should be asked to log into their Battle.net account. Then they should be given a list of their WoW licenses on the Battle.net account and given the option to select one that qualifies or create a new one.
They do appear to have created two new Starter Edition accounts, which are WoW#2 and WoW#3.
WoW#1 appears to be their main, which is the one they want to try to link to. I would ask them to click the link again and see what it says under WoW#1 when they do so. As far as I can tell you should still be within the window of time that will allow them to retroactively link.
I’m afraid we have no way to manually link accounts through Customer Support.
