Recruit a friend rewards switch from legacy to the new reward

I started the RaF process approximately five months ago to slowly work towards the Renowned Explorer transmog sets. Everything was fine until my debit card number was compromised and I went through the usual scramble of updating all of my accounts. I got an alert email saying I needed to update my payment method for my second account and changed the number, however after that I was suddenly switched out of the legacy rewards to the new RaF rewards which I don’t want. Just to be clear there was NOT several days long gap before paying, I reacted as soon as I saw the email.

I’ve submitted a ticket but after a frustrating back and forth I’ve had multiple GMs tell me they cannot do anything about it and suggest that I submit a bug report or post in the bug report forums. I was told by a GM that I would need a lapse for a month or more before it should have switched to the new reward track.

I have the same issue. Just checked for my reward and it switched to the new rewards. Did you ever get this resolved?

I ran into the same problem but didn’t have any compromised payments. It seems as soon as the first payment went thru after the switchover on March 21st it automatically made the “legacy” account a new raf sub. I’ve gotten nowhere with tickets and I’m rather mad as the next reward was a mount I was waiting for.

The icon only changed for me today. Really feel scammed, is there a way to get a refund if it can’t be fixed

Same thing happened to me. No lapse in subscription, but instead of the 4th month in the legacy track, I received the first month reward in the new track.
I submitted a ticket and was told:
“there was an issue with this system it has since been resolved and all rewards appear to be unlocking correctly for players.
I regret that the Game Master team is unable to move players between the different rewards tracks, once on the new rewards track you will remain on there for that recruit link.”
I fail to see how it was “resolved” and things are “working correctly” if I am receiving the wrong rewards.

Honestly i give it a 25% chance they will fix it. But I hope me getting a refund on game time was not a mistake

Bumping this to report the same issue. I opened a ticket and they forwarded it to the supposedly correct people but until then it’s the waiting game. I had an active legacy account that automatically switched over to the new RAF system. I even earned the first new RAF reward, which I refuse to claim so it doesn’t further lock me out. Going to just leave it there until they get around to fixing the legacy reward system.

Also happened to me. Had a recruited account that provided one legacy reward. I added several months of game time to the account as well as set up a monthly recurring subscription well before the new RAF campaign began and the account never lapsed for a single second but now it has switched from legacy to active in the recruit a friend menu.

I specifically participated in this program for the legacy rewards not the Goblin rewards that almost no one wants. I firmly believe this is false advertising if this is not corrected.

I’ve got the same issue. Is there an word on this being resolved and us being put on the correct RAF track? I signed up a second account specifically to receive these items. I’m not receiving what I’m paying for so any tickets saying that “this is resolved” are not accurate.

My first GM ticket said they saw the account should be on the legacy track and confirmed the account never “lapsed” and other people reported the same issue. They confirmed it was a known issue that would be corrected in a future patch.

Then I got a goblin reward and opened a new GM ticket. This new response said “this is because your account (account name) was recruited during the legacy campaign but your second account (account name) was recruited after the new campaign began.”

Both of these accounts were recruited on the same day!!! Well before the campaign switched over. Now I’m really concerned because I got two completely different responses. I now have very little faith this will be fixed.

Same issue. Same canned responses. I’m a goblin, and I was aiming for both tracks, so I got a legacy friend who was maintaining their sub and had paid on March 7th to do a 6 month sub after the new track was announced. Despite being a legacy recruit with no time lapsed, I got the Volatile Self-Driving Toolbox on April 7th instead of the Legacy Reward track reward I had next.

Two weeks fighting the GMs with proof in hand and nothing save “being added to the problem pool” as it were. Granted, I get little else can be done, but the lack of communication between the teams or clarity on this issue is irksome. The new track’s been live for a month and the issue has existed since it went live. What has anyone been doing this whole time?

To answer everyone’s questions, no this has not been resolved and being in grad school I haven’t even been paying as much attention to it. My desire to play the game is strained as it is since I only get a little bit of free time here and there so I may just end up canceling the subs on both accounts. I wanted to bump it again though seeing as I’m not the only one going through it though, but its disappointing to see all of you going through this as well.

It has now been one month since I received the 1st wrong reward, and I’m unfortunately here to say the situation has, somehow, gotten worse. Despite having my friend pledge the time required for the whole of either reward track, I’ve not received the next reward of any.

While I get the investigation as to what caused the original error is still ongoing, this is muddying the waters even further where a simple honest clarification on where the investigation stands would probably assuage a lot of doubts. I’ve re-opened the ticket stating as much.

So how do I get my legacy track back? I still have a recruit active on it but im getting the new rewards now for the second month in a row… i’m at 6 month in legacy and should be at 8th…
