Hey guys, I just logged into wow today per usual and noticed it was giving me a notification update near my chatbox and when I clicked it, it sent me to a recruit a friend tab that now has a copy/paste link to recruit people. It also shows my first in-game reward. Is the long-awaited recruit a friend back?
I can’t find any updates on it.
I see the same thing.
Still no word on the old rewards though. I hadn’t finished collecting them and they never explicitly said they’d be unobtainable in the future.

Confirmed it is LIVE! I Just set up an account for my GF, she is in game recruited, just got first reward.

How does the boost actually work?
Do you have to be in the same zone together or near each other, or do you just have to be in a party together.

Well since I’m a friendless loser it’s probably gonna end up more as recruit-an-alt for the rewards than recruit-a-friend. Though maybe a prepaid account will be enough to get someone I know into the game. In any event I won’t be doing it till 9.0 when I get full use from the game time rewards.
I wonder if I can “recruit” my friend who just signed up 2 weeks ago.

The old recruit-a-“friend” didn’t extract enough from their most loyal.

I mean I guess I spend alot in junk food and other junk. So I wont miss that junk as much.
For some reason I feel that 30 days seems more reasonable.
Oh well. Just sad because I have an IRL friend that I just got into the game.
I just gave my dummy starter account 180 days game time and all I got was the first month’s reward. Rip.
From a brief look at it, if your RAF partner stays for longer than a few months, it may or may not be better than the old system but if they stay for a shorter period of time, it’s way worse.
Does anyone know if that camel mount has anything special? I believe there was talk about it being a mobile bank or something.
