I was looking to recraft the Bow of the Dragon Hunters for a friend from item level 402 to 415/418, but the recrafting UI shows the resulting item at 402. Is this a known display bug? We’re hesitant to proceed with the recraft if it’ll eat the Concentrated Primal Infusion and potentially not upgrade the bow correctly.
Any updated? Have the same thing going on with Frostfire Legguards of Preparation.
Also, from my order placer side it shows correct, from the crafter side it doesn’t.
Yes, sorry, forgot to post an update, it is indeed just a display bug, when crafted it works as expected and goes to 415/418.
In addition, there is also a bug where if you are recrafting an item that used a Primal Infusion to one with a Concentrated Primal Infusion, the displayed Recipe Difficulty is adding both the +30 and +50. In the example above, the base difficulty is 280, so the total difficulty should have been 370 (base 280 + 50 infusion + 15 missive + 25 Alchemical Flavor Pocket). I ended up using an Illustrious Insight and guaranteeing 418.
word, can confirm I pulled the trigger after talking to another crafter. Thanks for the update though!
I can also confirm this is just a UI bug. I was trying to recraft a ring, and in the recraft interface, it showed the ring being downgraded from 399 item level to 350. I recrafted it, and it properly increased to 405.
This seems to be a recent bug, as I wasn’t experiencing it before 10.0.5 but I saw it in a personal order last night.
I posted a bug report (with screenshot) if any of yall want to add information to it:
I focused on the inability to recraft cause of the minimum quality, but it also had the same ilvl and difficulty display issue. In the end I was able to recraft the shield for the person once they dropped the min quality to 4, despite the display saying I would only make a 402 (got them a 418 shield).
