So then why are you blaming gdkps for ruining me economy when that’s not how it works.
You buying a sword doesn’t all of a sudden make flask of supreme power cost more.

I think anti-GDKP players also struggle to understand.
Think they if they ban GDKPs those runs magically become SR or MS > OS.
in reality, those are bonus runs that now simply won’t happen, won’t be public, or will have lots of HR / high barrier to entry for pugs.

I think they’re just going to be less overall raiding.
Like I’m not going to make an alt if I continue to play fresh because I don’t want to do those other types of runs.

Yeah, even me I have my priest that I will play during ranking phase and then prob just go back to Era.
No reason to continue pvping outside the fun of early ranking when I can’t GDKP for consumes.
I’m not interested in fighting full consumed gold buyers while broke because blizzard wanted to ban the one loot system that makes players able to play the game without buying gold.
I haven’t kept up with fresh news but it’s funny cuz they want anti rmt stuff but don’t add anti rmt things like the black lotus change.
Unless they added it and I’m wrong.
Please don’t ever break on this, Blizzard. Never let this P2W spam nonsense back in classic. It infests every chat channel like Gray Goo eliminating all social pug value in the game. Whitemane is completely unplayable because of this. Let it rot away in its containment zone on era.

You know well I appreciate the work you put in I’m not sure what the point of this is. I have two bachelors and a master’s degree, I work for a small tech company and some of the board directors of five different nonprofits. I also have a family which have to take care of including cooking dinner 6 to 7 days a week making sure that my kid gets taken to daycare and picked up from and keep the entire house together.
Yet I have plenty of time to play the retail version of this game including being the world first person to get to 3kio or higher on every class in a single season. I don’t play a lot usually a few hours here and there a few days a week I’m just extremely and hyper-efficient in my game time. I never log in AFK I only log in if I have friends ready or if I’m just going to slam some pugs for an hour or two.
The reality of it is that the minority of gdkp players are swipers.
The gold that these swipers provide does help boost the pots at the end.
I was always able to get an invite to gdkps when I get good gear, so I would never be tempted to buy gold as I would get it from gdkps.
Now without gdkps, bots are even worse, and gold has inflated even faster because now people cannot raid and get gold, now you have to farm for your entire life or play the auction house… or become a swiper.
The experiment has failed and blizzard is lying to our faces saying it succeeded. As SOD dies I can’t help but to think how much better the raid scene would be if we had gdkps. GDKPS carry the game in late phases, stopping people from quitting who otherwise would have.

What’s your character’s name so I can block you and never group with you? You can hard reserve everything you want since you are so good. Even better, I wish I would never see your gnome face ever.
Have you considered that if that is the case, then you should roll your alts on classic era because GDKP is allowed there and your main and all your accrued gold are also there?

The only strong response to the ban is for it to stay banned, given how the OP was ratio’d pretty hard lol.

Before they launched the Anniversary servers they considered.
The concensus was apparently that it would be banned in this version of WoW as well.

The amount of people who want more bots in the game is unreal.
Sure, the best gold farm in the game is an incentive for people to buy gold…
GDKP is a deterrent for gold buying for normal players, the majority of people doing gdkps. It is an incentive for whales only.
The biggest incentive for gold buying is eliminating a source of gold, aka gdkps.
