Recently I found out that Soridormi is treated as an extra party member like player would be. And as such this means that enemy health is scaled up. However the help that Soridormi offers doesn’t come even close to making up for the extra health boost the enemies get. Now Soridormi is in a bit of grey area where doesn’t immediately seem obvious her assistance would cause enemies to scale up like players do since its not immediately clear that the game would treat her the way they treat players. When interacting with Bronze Hourglass it should probably tell you that enemy health will be scaled up if you take Soridormi with you.
Agreed on the warning, but:
This depends entirely on the player.
She is useful for low-geared characters (you know, alts and stuff) and low-skilled players (who won’t be doing the damage they should for their gear).
She’s bad for an average to good player playing on their main from earlier in patch 11.1.
Eh. I am bit skeptical on that. Because you have to remember that she actively boosts the health of the enemies. And the benefits she provides don’t quite make up for it. If you select her as dps the enemy health is increased by 100%. Which actively counteracts the entire reason for having her on your team to begin with. Which would be to make things easier. The main advantage of using Soridormi that she can resurrect you. However if you didn’t have her on the team to begin with the entire vision would be easier.
It was pretty poor design that blizzard implemented a follower system that just makes the content twice as difficult to do. Putting noob traps like this in the game is ridiculous
Imagine if when you used a flask, it increased the damage of all enemies by 100%. Silly huh? Kinda defeats the purpose of using a flask.
