Recognizing Quel’thalas

It took them (blizzard) DECADES to realize that the blood elven lands were left outdated for so long and didn’t even try to reconstruct these zones back to the main map. it took them (blizzard) so MANY expansions after cataclysm to decided to revamp all of the blood elven zones and adding them to the main map. It really upsets me that it took them this long to decide to revamp all of the blood elven zones when these zones were left outdated for the LONGEST time. I truly HOPE that they make these zones the most beautiful places out of all the modern zones and do these zones justice.

I swear to God, there needs to be a limit on how many threads you can make in a day.

Here’s hoping it gets revamped because they need to set the scene for it to be destroyed lol.

There was a Silvermoon warfront (and Barrens warfront) in the files so a new design almost happened. Just didn’t make any sense why there should’ve been a warfront out there.

Sometimes you just really want to kill some elves

That we know of. Story direction could easily have taken us anywhere with the global presence of Azerite.

At least you’re likely to see a new affliction on the elves to cull during Midnight. :axe::robot:

Lorthemar would flip another bench if Azerite erupted nearby. :robot::thought_balloon:

After we drop a couple manabombs on Stormwind maybe.

Ironforge can continue to exist though, Ironforge is cool.

I keep telling youse guys that Quel’thalas is an unfinished zone on the main server. Ghostlamds and Eversong Forest are the BC server.

I would say about 70% of the entire game is completely outdated when it comes to graphics and timelines and what not… but yes… poor blood elves, I guess?

Ok.

Made fine sense. The Undercity was already routed, so the Alliance moving to push out the Blood Elves control of the EK’s northern lands would be a good next step goal in a war like that.

There’s still the same problem as the Barrens, Anduin is high king and he’s closer to the iconic characters of those cities than Sylvanas-- although I don’t think Sylvanas is trying. :closed_book::robot:

edit: Funny enough, the Frostwolves aren’t even involved in the Arathi Warfront so that’s probably not even the reason either. :memo::robot::sweat_drops:

edit 2: I was really thinking Anduin was the reason these warfronts weren’t possible but it could’ve happened for less of a reason but as long as it chooses it’s characters wisely.

We engage in conflicts on the war table constantly all over. I don’t think this has any bearing at all. BFA was happening around the world our characters were just focused on the two island nations trying to gain a stronger hand.

Engaging the last bastion of the Horde in the Eastern Kingdoms is a smart move and one they likely would have engaged in. (Though I honestly think they’d have focused more on disrupting trade lines and such rather than actually attack the city but its WoW so.)

Meanwhile engaging Thunderbluff from the coast that they already (sort of) had fortified is another good move especially to secure the trade line into and out of Mulgore. It would have hampered the Horde very well.

Both are tactically sound and whether or not Anduin has a friendship with two people involved in those lands (and lets face it Valeera isn’t actually involved with her people much anymore.) doesn’t come into it. Nor do I think the focus of those Warfronts would be anything more than the disruption unlike the Warfront for Darkshore that was about destroying Alliance lands.

Heck Arathi wasn’t about eradicating the Horde or Alliance either. It was about keeping them from securing more power near each others borders.

EDIT:

OH also there is a fair bit of evidence that the Mulgore warfront might have been Sylvanas attacking the gate to get to Baine as a retaliation. For all we know it was a warfront where we were fighting horde and alliance together AGAINST Sylvanas and her Loyalists.

It was so funny seeing Baine and Mayla being in the Stormwind castle for several months. Kinda makes me wish they would officially join the Alliance. xD

agreed, sometimes you just want to slaughter them in droves because reasons…we may see that Silvermoon Warfront in Midnight

When playing in retail do you change servers when moving from the classic zones to the BC zones? I know the data structure for BC zones was not updated for flying as the classic zones were but I thought servers were dedicated to realms, not zones.

Those areas could’ve been commanded and based by the void elves and night elves. :robot::+1:

To be fair, I sometimes feel the horde are part of the alliance by that point of BfA. :robot::thought_balloon:
