I doubt it. You can still do the reclaiming Lordaeron questline.

If so, you’ll have like seven months to do it. And no reason to rush through it on multiple alts. The rewards are account wide.
How many defense posts are you going to make? Did you write this story? Do you work for Blizzard? I never seen a fan so invested in yelling at people for having an opinion.
Gilneas Reclamation deserved way more than just 10 minutes of “kill x number of trash mobs” followed by a “boss” that’s less mechanically involved than something from Classic

I’m gonna talk about what people are talking about, which is primarily this today.
If me having an unpopular opinion you disagree with bothers you that much, ignore me and save us both the annoyance of interacting with each other.

I’m not sure why y’all have built this up so much in your heads.
The Forsaken moved out a while ago, and the city has just been either derelict or a black dragon base since, depending on the timeline. Clearing out some leftover vermin was all that was really left to accomplish. It didn’t need a nine book saga.
Because it was a big event they’ve built up to over the entire expansion, starting with their comments that “We want the retaking of Gilneas to be a big event that the players themselves get to experience”
The “big event” amounted to even less effort than a basic campaign storyline chapter

Do we have a quote for this? I’m curious of the wording.
Now, don’t get me wrong, it was short and rehashed starter zone quests, but I think I missed some interviews and I’m just interested in reading them to see what we were supposed to get as opposed to what we did get. Maybe they ran out of time? Dunno.

It was from way back around the lead up to Dragonflight if I remember correctly. Something around where they talked about the 5 year timeskip between Shadowlands and it, and that the world wouldn’t be changing much because they want big events like retaking Gilneas to be something special for the players to experience themselves, rather than something that just happened in the background of a big timeskip
Most players have a bigger imagination than you, lol.
We also expected a similar amount of content for Reclaiming Gilneas as we did for losing it. Sounds crazy, I know. Such wild expectations!
