Reckoning is meant to be 400ms like seal twisting

  • Being critically struck while using /sit to sit does not cause abilities like Enrage, Blood Craze, and Reckoning to activate.

Is wrong.

These 2 videos prove that is false blizzard.

(http://us.battle.net/wow/en/character/firetree/Baconn/) 120 Human Paladin22915 Normally if you’re sitting down you would not get Reckoning charges from auto-attacks. However, you could gain charges from random NPCs by constantly sitting and standing up due to server lag: mob would try to attack you as your were sitting, so it’d be a forced crit. However, if you stood up just as you were getting hit, the server would see you as if you were standing and get a Reckoning charge. That’s from Baconn the Paladin who wrote the blue stickied Reckoning guide on the original vanilla wow forums: Poster:

After patch 1.10, Baconn (the author of the stickied post) never bothered to update it.

The forum in 2005 shows a paladin saying reckoning doesnt work from sit, but sit to sit is not thesame as just sitting And that was a 2005 comment yet we still see paladins in 2006 gaining reckoning from sit to sit

There are 2 videos and 1 written description that prove that

Being critically struck while using /sit to sit DOES cause abilities like Reckoning to activate.

Blizzard we have hard evidence of this. Please all we need is 400ms specific batching for reckoning. Remove 10ms for reckoning please.

You put 400ms for spell batching and yet we have evidence reckoning works with original spell batching in the video and also /sit to sit is meant to be able to trigger abilities like reckoning.

We can see it in the two 2006 videos Blizzard.

http://blue.cardplace.com/cache/wow-paladin/1069149.htm Mentions Can I sit down to force a crit and gain a charge? Charges will not generate off auto attacks or npc attacks by trying to sit down and force a crit. However, ability crits from physical abilities such as Sinister Strike, Hamstring, Auto-shot, Aimed shot, etc will generate a charge if you’re sitting.

He says sit. Not /sit to sit Just sitting doesn’t proc reckoning but the 400ms batching between /sit to sit does. Thesame poster who wrote in the bluecard that says this.

Normally if you’re sitting down you would not get Reckoning charges from auto-attacks. However, you could gain charges from random NPCs by constantly sitting and standing up due to server lag

So it is the server lag also known as spell batching that is the one thing that causes reckoning to work. 400ms is what reckoning should be set to. Not 10ms. Just like seal twisting is set to 400ms and not 10ms. You were able to set seal twisting to 400ms without affecting everyone elses gameplay because it has it’s own private spell batching. Why can’t you do thesame with reckoning?

3 self crits of reckoning and redoubt in 12 seconds in original 2006 classic 400ms batching is what we should have, exactly like on the left side of the video which has the two 2006 videos merged together.

Not 3 self crits in 269 seconds at 10ms in the 2021 10ms video on the right…

10ms gives paladins almost no window of opportunity to proc self crits with reckoning. 10ms is not blizzlike at 400ms.

2006 classic: 3 self crits in 12 seconds of /sit to sit Currently in 2021 classic: 3 self crits in 269 seconds of /sit to sit 12 seconds blizzlike vs 269 seconds… Please fix.

Seal of command lingering for .5sec after twisting is not from spell batching, its just the way the ability is designed

He states: So that means there actually was a 400 ms batch window from Vanilla WoW in 2004 up to Warlords of Draenor in 2014, an entire 10 years before the spell batching window was adjusted on live servers!

This concludes that 400ms should be updated on new servers for reckoning with the new batching and up from 10ms.
You aren’t /sit to sit proccing anything with 10ms. Blizzard should remove twisting if they want the screw reckoning over.

I know that already. I’m not talking about Seal of Command itself. I’m talking about the window they are proccing in. If you miss the window with the wrong timing you miss self critting reckoning or getting seal twists. Back in 2006 both seal twisting and reckoning in 1.12 had thesame spell batching that used to work for the same reason. Seal twisting is still based off of the old twisting with the current batching.
Either give us reckoning and seal twisting together with the new batching or remove both.

It would make sense for reckoning to be based off of the 1.12 batching with the new batching and have it’s own 400ms instead of 10ms.

All Blizzard needs to do to fix reckoning is to make it 400ms. Up from 10ms. Without affecting any other class spells that is negatively affected by spell batching. Higher spell batching helps reckoning. They should make it also work with Redoubt so redoubt is 400ms instead of 10ms. How to be a Gankadin proves it’s both reckoning and Redoubt.

You can’t go changing things like this just because it upsets people.

Before they made spell batching 10ms for all spells. Reckoning and Redoubt were working perfectly. 10ms is not what the 2 videos show.
