Reckless Flurry

I noticed a high rated Prot warrior running 3 reckless flurry traits. Do those traits carry over even if out of fury?

Of course. It’s just extra damage to auto attacks.

Thanks, I guess I never realized they worked outside of the specific spec.

As long as a trait affects something another spec has it works for the other spec. Almost every class has traits that can affect play in multiple specs.

Interesting, how effective was it?

RF is, at least on single target, the strongest trait for prot. Purely for single target damage.

Do you combine it with devastator? Plus enchant gale force striking? I’m not sure if its worth it. Then again if the guy using it is high rated there must be something I’m missing

As far as PvP? I have no input or knowledge. For PvE? It’s an option, to rock RF traits, and if you choose Gale force, for boss damage. You give up survivability for it, so it’s mostly for parse on bosses like Grong/Mekka.

And yes, for some bosses you can add devastator. Again, mostly for damage, as the only time so far this expansion Devastator was better for actually tanking was fetid-thrash tanking.

Hmm I see, I only tank for m+ so I guess it’s not really relevant for me. Thanks for the input though.
