My damage on those pieces for that trait were 599 extra damage now down to 149? I never read that in the patch notes feelsbad
Edit : Reckless Flurry has be counted as an unintended change and is being reverted back today as of December 18th!
It’s been that way for a month on the PTR i made a bug report a month ago of course never got a response. Guess it is intended and zero communication like always.

Wow this is pretty hefty. Extra annoying because I used a Warlord’s Trophy on a Dread Gladiator’s Plate Helm last week… which I wouldn’t have done if i knew it was getting nerfed by like 80%. Anyone know if this is intentional or a bug?

Yea that was one of the first things I noticed. Seems like reckless Flury got hard nerfed by over 50% damage. Not sure it’s worth using anymore.
so is there going to be a blue looking over this orrrr? is it going to just be silent while devs pull yet another stealth nerf on an already underclassed spec?
Do no worry, Archi the sim warrior theorycrafter said in Skyhold discord that the trait got overnerf and its being investigated

My 390 azerite pieces are all showing 180 dmg down from like 870…I really don’t think this is intentional…I hope its not
I really don’t think they read their forms.
If this was intentional, why isn’t it in the patch notes??? There is like 0 reason for a change like this to not be in there. None.
If this is a mistake, well then, it’s not like the community didn’t warn you about it… a month ago.
Besides it wasn’t a supper OP trait, at least not according to simcraft. It was the best trait, but it wasn’t blowing the rest out of the water like the new “Cold Steel, Hot Blood” trait. And you only really wanted one of them for a BIS raid setup.
If they were going to nerf it I could see it being nerfed by 10% or something like that. At least it would still be worth using. Currently bloodmalet is showing you would need something like 6 of these traits stacked up to make up just one "Cold Steel, Hot Blood" trait. I don’t know what kind of tools Blizzard uses for their internal testing, but I somehow doubt that Simcraft is wrong by that much. So again if this is intentional, gg with the tuning bliz!
You must be new. Blizzard stealth changes things on a regular basis.

I don’t get why this isn’t a free respec for any pieces that have this trait. One of the pieces in my bag has the new strike the anvil trait, and it was reset for free, but the reckless fury traits are now garbage AND I have to spend gold to fix it.
Like I said I made a post in the warrior forums, the Bug forums and Class dev forums and I tweeted the Devs. Sooooooooooooo… I did this weeks ago.

The bug first appeared in the first PTR build over two months ago.
There’s no official word on it yet. In any regard. The datamining for ptr didn’t even have it. It was just there.
It’s roughly a 75% nerf. Assume it’s intended until we’re told otherwise. There have been multiple bug changes that are already being reverted. We’ll have to wait and see. honestly.

Let’s be honest. When it comes to blizzard, there is no such thing as an overnerf. It was either nerfed, or not nerfed enough
Yep, saw a 450 dps drop from this nerf. I simmed 18,250 the night before raid and 17,800 after 8.1 hit. GG Blizzard, only took me until 2 to 3 weeks ago to finally get a good piece with Reckless Flurry on it. This is why I will not spend 675 TR on a targeted piece of azurite only to have it stealth nerfed a week later. Eat Tauren s**t Blizzard.

I haven’t been able to log in to my fury yet, what’s the new cold steel trait?
Bloodthirst crits generate 4 rage and apply a dot that does damage and heals for damage dealt. It’s pretty strong atm, especially having 1 trait of it.
