Hi,

I’m trying to get the Charitable Cheddar recipe however I’m unsure if I can get it.

I had already acquired the Deviously Deviled Eggs recipe prior to trying to farm the Cheddar recipe. I’m in the Zskera Vault but I’m unsure if the Rat can spawn if I’ve already received the Deviled Eggs recipe.

So my question is whether or not I can even spawn the Rat anymore?

I believe the spawn of the Recipe Rat in Zskera Vault is completely random and I have seen him more than once on a character that completed his tasks and got the recipe and the pet.

He’s also in Zaralek Caverns now too - which apparently takes away the RNG aspect?

The recipe rats in the caves and the one in the vaults give different scraps of recipe for 2 recipes. The rat in the cave gives the charitable cheddar one. Once you have the achievement with the cheddar, you get a pet that can teach the 2 recipes to all your toons.
