So my first question is, does Herbing have any type of daily quest. I was Alchemy/Enchanting. And Even with enchanting being considered a gathering profession you still got daily quest from the work orders, and you would get anywhere between 20-50 Artisan’s Acuity a day. From EACH profession. Just wondering if I am missing something.
Also does Herb and Mining still have the low random chance to get an extra skill point?
Have two crafting professions is great for Acuity so am I missing something with Gathering? Not to mention even with having all blue tools and points put in the right places I don’t get any rank three herbs very often at all, so I am very confused lol.
Gathering professions have a weekly number of items you get from gathering. Once you get the epic KP item, you are done getting them until the weekly reset. That is unless you are catching up. Catch up KPs item will then start to show up in your gathering once you are done with the regular items. There is also a weekly quest that the trainers give out each week and good old DMF.
So does that mean gathering doesn’t really get any Acuity?
It means you get less AA per week. You also get all your weekly AA at YOUR leisure. You do not depend on the whims of the patrons orders, you can get your catchups as long a gathering sortie as you want and be up to date on your KPs. Only crafting prof that can be fully catch upped is enchanting as far as I know. All the others fall behind no matter what.
