Recently acquired Hidden artifact appearances

so i recently unlocked my hidden artifact appearance on my Brewmaster monk and i cannot transmog it do i need to do 30 dungeons to get another version of the appearance to unlock it or am i just out of luck

As long as you are in Brewmaster spec you should be able to transmog the base appearance you unlocked. Other versions you have to do the requirements for them.

When you go to the artifact appearance tab in transmog it doesn’t show?

No only Pvp appearance

So you got the Legend of the Monkey King from the Bubbling Keg from the Brewhouse upgrade in your order hall? That’s the base appearance. I’m not sure if you can get the others without having that first but I suppose it’s possible. If so then you won’t be able to transmog the base appearance unless you get the above.

Does anyone know if you can get other of the hidden appearances before getting the base one?

Sorry you misunderstood me i have the base appearance of the Legend of the Monkey King but also have the the PvP appearance Dragonfires Grasp unlocked which i can see and trasmog but the Legend of the Monkey King Appearance i cannot transmog

Try this:
Go to the order hall. Equip your artifact. Change its appearance to the new one. Log out while using the weapon. Log back in, equip your regular weapon and try to transmog it.

Are you trying to transmog over the actual artifact weapon itself? Because if you try to transmog an artifact weapon it won’t show up.

You should be able to transmog it then, maybe a little “push” by doing what Alamara suggested would work. If nothing does then put in a ticket.

You have to do a hard log between obtaining it and being able to use it.

Yes ive hard logged out relogged in battle net aswell

Make sure you relog.

Sometimes I had problems not being able to transmog my artifact because the changes didn’t “kick in” yet.

Edit: if nothing works definitely put in a ticket

You need to be level 98.
