Hello, over the last month or so I’ve had some trouble with my connection. My ping is generally 50-70ms, but often jumps to anywhere between 400-3000ms. I’ve asked my ISP for help, and they don’t see anything on their end. I’m not completely happy that I believe them, but since most of what I do is with WoW - I was hoping someone may be able to help identify my issue. My Looking Glass results are long, and don’t seem to all fit inside the Blockquote thing? If someone can tell me which part of the Looking Glass to post, I’d be happy to.
Hey, Zubbzy! Sometimes addons can cause the latency to spike this high, have you tried uninstalling any addon managers and resetting the UI?
The looking glass information isn’t very useful for most situations, unless requested by us, since the information gathered is from the Blizzard servers to the computer. It’s generally used for major connection issues, but it’s very rarely needed or helpful.
Instead, would you be able to gather a WinMTR test while the game is running for 10-15 minutes. This will gather information from the computer to the Blizzard Servers.
