Got to this point and am now stuck. The tomes only option is to close the tome. I tried to summon the tome same thing. I went back to Dorm used it to say I’m lost, it sends me to Deeps but no quest anywhere, and it doesn’t show on the map. I left the recap and continued is. Still no go. I deleted all my addons and wtf folder, also repaired the game files, nothing has helped.

Since blizzard cant seem to help anyone with this issue, I managed to figure out a good way to get around most this the clog with this extremely buggy quest chain. After a great deal of time trying to fix it all listed above and even changing my password… (GM recommendation).
Simply close the tome go to your quest log and abandon the quest. Go to the recap bar on your right click the chat bubble to bring back the tome pick up quest and it’s fixed. GL.
