Reasons to play Alliance

Human rep racial helps with a lot of things. Pink-haired and beared gnomes. Stormwind and Ironforge both exhibit a distinct lack of spikes, and are easier to get around. The Alliance storylines are generally not about killing all the living, and the leaders are not totally bat-s crazy. Also, gryphons > wind riders, and horses and cats don’t bounce as much as raptors or chickens.

If you want to play a short race for some reason, you have more Alliance options than Horde.

The best reason, however, if you’ve been playing Horde, is just to see the content from a different angle. Most expansions give you that, although not in all zones.

Whaaaat?

Girl just go to nazjatar and head to the road between mezzamere and their town. You’ll be able to bang out that quest in less than 20 minutes! (Edit: dont forget to grab some deepcoral pods!)

I dont know how people keep warmode turned off - the weekly reward for 500 cp is too good to pass up. It’s free gear!

I’m Alliance for the might of being a Human Paladin.

Alliance has MHP. That’s all you need.

I love alliance, but me and my brothers decided to switch to horde the other day and see if the grass is greener. It really is, so many more raids to queue into, m+ to join (higher and lower levels), more people who help find rares in damn uldum and panda.

Atleast, that’s my 2 days of horde experience so far

That Easy.
Alliance have better looking cites. Stormwind, IF are so much better then Org.
Alliance have humans. I like playing human “ignore the toon i’m posting on”
Fantasy tropes. Humans, Dwarf, Elves. Or Monsters. Fantasy wins always.

Reason i play humans in games is I feel connect to them as I am one. They also fit into 90% of story.

If I were to have play horde I’ll play a Belf. They the best, close to humans. Forsaken don’t count as I 100% believe they are the worst playable race. But even so Horde always feel disjointed with it races.
I have tried play Horde a few times but yeah.

The racials argument is blown out of proportion and not as significant as people with victim complexes want you to believe.

i agree i mean i went to their portal room and was like “wth is this place?” forgot i teleported to SW and damn it was nice. the org one is pretty meh like they put it together over night or something.

And I gain anywhere from 20-30% increased rewards from all of the world content. Deal.

Our racials aren’t why there are fewer alliance raids. At least not racials in today’s iteration. Also, If anything, Shadowmeld is potentially the most “overpowered” racial in the current state of the game.

Purely anecdotal.

Superior cleavage.

I mean look at these Moon Glaives, they could easily cleave an Orc in twain!

Haha fair point and yea I agree forsaken suck but I’m bias because my only alliance characters are worgens

I can, and have played other races, I just enjoy Humans. I did at one point play as a troll hunter but I was into troll history as well Night elf. In classic i’m playing a Dwarf since humans can’t be hunters.

It really Horde cities are not fun to get around. Though i do like the look of Thunder Bluff.

  1. Kind of depends on the area, the time of day and a host of other factors. Lord know’s I’ve had alliance death balls camping flight masters and rolling through warfronts enough times to make it dangerous.
  2. Very debatable.
  3. Again, I’ve lost enough BG’s to find this to be a sketchy stance to take.

I have alliance for three main reasons…

#1: Friends/family play Alliance, and I enjoy playing with them.

#2 : I want to see the whole story, and need at least one Alliance playing the end-game on that side.

#3 : I must have all the elves, and Alliance has two elven races not on the Horde.

I don’t understand why some people only play one faction.

That would be like paying for a chocolate and lime gelato and only eating the chocolate side before dumping it in the bin.

I enjoy both flavours in the game.

From what people have said in other threads, it seems there are a couple general reasons.

Some don’t care for the other factions races, general aesthetics, or lore.

Some don’t care for the general attitude of people on the other side.

And there are those who don’t really care about seeing all the lore/story, and wish to keep the ‘immersion’ of only playing one faction.

Bah. Who needs a milkshake or a waggle or a tentacle? Just do what I do use creative threats and profanity.

All of that is false.

I don’t anymore for various reasons. Deleted every Alliance toon I had about thirty minutes ago. Horde only now.
