Um, right. Tell that to the Oceanic servers. Plus, there has been several times where I have been on Alliance heavy shards too.
I disagree. I find racials on most Alliance races to actually be strong and competitive.
I disagree again. I have won several BG’s on my Alliance toons, same as lost several BG’s on my Horde toons as well. In my experience, the win/lose rate for me is around 50/50.
I turned warmode on once while on my Alliance toon, proceeded to get bent over by 5+ Horde players everywhere I went. And then they /spit on your corpse as if they were something special.
Reasons to play Alliance? Human and Draenei females are some of the best looking in the game. That’s about the only reason I have.
Pending on region horde outnumber alliance on NA and EU while alliance outnumber horde on OCE and ASP.
Alliance currently has better racials, point proven in mdi and arena tournaments where allaince toons are made
It comes down to many factors and. Look at the past few weeks of classic alliance couldnt win a thing but then blizz startes banning afk players and now its back to 50/50
I adore Night Elves. Expectedly, I was furious when the Nightborne were given to the Horde, but in the end the Horde got Vulpera, so I guess that is payback enough for me. They certainly deserve all the “Fur the Horde!”, HA!
I also like the questlines and lore a lot more on the Alliance side.
Alliance has dwarves and dwarves have beer.
Alliance also makes sense if being light aligned or nature aligned appeals to you.
Frankly the racials are now pretty balanced. Horde has a larger hard core community and that is growing. If you want to push mythic keys, or raid progression it makes sense to go horde right now. That means that horde will grow long term as many players cycle in and out of hardcore playing (depending on life) and those players will tend to stay horde.
