Reason why I'm close to quitting wow all together

pretty much done with wow all together,
i main 3 Tanks and after tanking 1000+ PUG dungeons since TBC classic release as well as 500+ PUG maybe more,
M+ in retail i have come to the conclusion that the REAL problem with the game isn’t necessarily with Blizzard the real problem is the players.

To basically sum it all up, WOW is like driving.
You could be playing with someone who constantly (forgets) to indicate.
You could be playing with someone who has bad road (rage)
You could be playing with someone who doesn’t follow the road (rules)
You could be playing with someone who is a (abusive) driver (verbally) and on the road etc… tailgating, brake testing.
You could be playing with someone who just (doesn’t care) about (other people)
And finally, you could be playing with someone who is (uncooperative) on the road.

We look at the bracketed words: (forgets) (rage) (rules) (abusive verbally) (doesn’t care about other people) (uncooperative)

We then jump onto a online game where we play with the above people who behave in the way listed in the brackets above.

And we then quit a game we enjoy because we are subject to the same type of problems as when we drive. So we decide to play single player games from now on and leave wow behind.

WOW’s always been my go-to game but now I’m leaving it behind purely because of the player base. NOT because of blizzards decisions & patches/expansions even Tho i dislike them and don’t agree with them the games still FUN! just not with the current players.

But if it’s like driving you’ll have to quit driving too! And that’s not logical.

I do agree a lot of gamers are a problem.

It isn’t really like driving since you can group with friends and not have those problems if you all educated each other. It’s also a good solo game.

never said i was quitting driving… that’s you giving me an ultimatum. I’m simply stating a similarity in peoples behaviors when they drive and when the jump on a online game.

It is a good solo game but i dont know too many people that solo M+???

Online gaming in a nutshell, really.

People are lame

Find some good people and play with them

Same thing here, for all of the above reason’s you’ve mentioned. I’m close to quitting too. A couple of other major issues are … “Parses” determine everything and the other issue is player greed/selfishness. Other than that though mostly due to real life reasons and having a baby soon that’ll need my attention. I could still stay and squeeze in some time for WoW but the majority of the player base makes it VERY difficult to want to. I still play rn due to being stuck home while in medical recovery from an at work accident. So I have nothing better to do to keep myself out of trouble BUT to play WoW.

“All I do is flex, I don’t need a reason
Leaving wow next, I don’t need a reason
Fly out on a jet, I don’t need a reason
Every day’s a never ending summer season”

Seriously, you’re burnt out dude. Leave the game and look for fun elsewhere - it’s all good. It’s not a bad thing. It’s just a game, there’s other ways to spend time and have fun.

Bye (10Chars)

Gamers in general have become overly toxic, but really it always had. Literally everybody I beat in the Halo3 days had sex with my mother the night prior.

thats what happens when there is zero consequence for bad behavior.

we are starting to see it in actual society as well.

Bro your name is literally bad behavior :skull::skull:

I don’t care if the turnpike and parkway might be littered with grannies driving 18 wheelers. I’m still going to Atlantic City next weekend.

I feel the same man. I’m going to D4 to get away from this community and play a game at my own pace instead of on a schedule like a job.

This community has gotten worse and worse.

Also the dev team seems to not understand what good changes are and what bad changes are anymore. They are obviously all retail devs who were brought over for Classic and they are just making Classic retail before Cata even releases.

players are WoW’ greatest challenge, yes.

Games a clown show for people to prey on the innocent only thing left to do is gdkp and make gold… hahahahhahahahahah

D4 wont change anything

Reap what you sow

Thisisnotjustforwowbtw :]

unfortunate facts, take a long and well deserved break and if you elect to return your tanking services will be enjoyed again by the players who aren’t jerks

Many of the same toxic players who are dipping out of wow for the above reasons will end up in D4 and its possible the same bad behavior will end up there also

Unless in HC ladder it should be not much an issue.

While you have to see the nitwits in open world since the whole lost ark copy pasta…errr innovative mmo element, you can solo run regular dungeon at least.

Its HC D4 that has me leery. People and well…even d3 had lag spikes and such for your solo instance.

How the hell does a single player game lag spike, rubber band, etc? Well Blizzard found an answer even in d3 lol.

this wouldnt have been a problem if the skillgap was addressed 15 years ago.

allowing the bads to be bad did this to the playerbase.
