35 years now Ive been in the advertising type field. Most of that has been in my own business. Lots of cash to be made.
In all those years NOT ONCE have l lost a customer that was disgrunted. I have had to run off some nastier sorts, but never since Ive been doing this has a customer been dissatisfied with my work and walked.
I go beyond the call of duty to give them what they want in a very timely fashion, and they never complain about anything provided.
I honestly cannot wrap my mind around doing crap half rumped like Blizzard does.
Id have lost every customer I have had if I did even 1% of the crap theyve pulled.
I dont think they get it that the ONLY reason they survive ISNT because they do a good job.
Its SOLELY BECAUSE WE ARE GAMERS who are craving a game to play and we’ll often settle for crap just to be playing something.
If it werent such a niche thing here theyd have gone bust years ago with WoD.
They dont get it that if it werent for our drive to play video games, theyd wouldnt have lasted a year with the crap theyve been pulling at least the nearly two years Ive been playing
If they had any common sense theyd be begging for input and hanging on every word.
But I dont think that cognitive dissonance thing works that way
Maybe they’ll figure it out when the last server is being unplugged.

as a horde player I am appalled by how blizzard did the portals – on one side they remove many portals because fast travel is some how bad BUT then they give us members of the horde MORE portals so we need not be bothered with waiting for blimp rides yet oddly the alliance players still have to take a boat.
My of my alliance playing friends refuse to play now because of the injustice they feel blizz has perpetrated on them – simple solution an equal number for portals for each side going to the same basic zones/cities.
I love wow but even I am getting sick of defending blizzes ill conceived ideas.

I just looked at the portal rooms for the alliance and WTH blizz - we horde players have a nice neat and tidy room and the alliance got that double long hallway train wreck???
I have simply lost faith in you blizz.

Yes, but the trade-off is that the Horde portal room is right at the front gates, begging for Alliance to come camp it in war mode. I genuinely don’t see why they couldn’t have done a remodel of the Cleft of Shadows and prettied it up/added a portal chamber.

There is a cool down on mage teleports… if I remember right (it’s been a few months since I played one of my mages) its duration is around 1 or 2 seconds.

If I ran another game, I’d make it a point to attack Bliz in every front where they’ve proven they are inept. I would start with the air of hubris, customer contempt, and complete lack of understanding what it takes to make and keep a fun class.
Work with and interact with the community so that fun things don’t get patched for “reason”.
Prove that ultimately you respect your customer’s wallet as well as their time.
BfA is such a softball for all of these. I really hope someone tees up a homerun.
