Yes I can, game designers have godlike power over their game, if there is an inconvenience that is not caused by lack of technology or development it is intentional.
Therefore every utility cooldown is intentional, the slowness of movement on water is intentional, the speed of flight, the normal walking speed of your characters, the hp of mobs, the speed of xp gains, the damage you do, the gold that drops, the aggro mechanics, the lack of flying, the list goes on and on, they are all intentional inconveniences.

Okay and about portals? You want them to intentionally remove them to just make players angry? You see these posts, right? 98% of them are against the changes. Weird.

Instead they get lazy and push crap content, then make it worse by nerfing it into dust, then take out their tantrums on US for wanting a GOOD game to play.

Ive played FF14 for about 7 hours today.
Playing right now, matter of fact.
7 hours logged in FF14 that WOULD have been spent farming in WoW had they not pulled this infantile crap.

You know when many single player RPGs become the most fun? When you’re given the freedom to travel and explore the Entire World!
Final Fantasy does it every single game. You eventually get an airship, and you’re given access to the entire world. And its an awesome and fun experience. You have Freedom.
No longer are you stuck between Walls.

I’ve already stated my position many times, you can go back and look it up. The popularity of my opinion is irrelevant, I can play the same game and say that the devs agree with me and they have more power than all the players combined, but that is a silly game to play.
Do you concede the fact that there are hundreds of intentional inconveniences in this game? And you you understand that the fact that they are inconveniences does not mean they should not have a place in this game?
haha Same here… the story is amazing just hit level 60 and did not feel bored at all the whole time… also that idea to increase your mount speed giving to you by just questing was so good… and the way to get flight in each zone… no dumb pathfinder. you still have to earn your wings but there is no forced timewall.
Again I might just be biased and bored of wow (been playing since vanilla non stop) this might just be a change of scenery effect.

There is a bit of that. Won’t deny it. There are certain things that exist in every mmorpg. Things you can’t get away from.
At least FF14 tries to make the game as open to you as possible.
