how EXACLTY IN ANY FORM whatsoever removing QoL changes like portals is good for the game these days?
the game is about to reach 15 years old… the “WOW LOOK AT THIS PLACE” feeling is way gone unless you’re in a new expansion… otherwise this is the same fiasco as 7.3.5 and the laughable excuse for removing power leveling from players.

They clearly think just saying, “tradition!” (tradition they didn’t follow for the latter half of the game’s lifespan, but hey, once upon a time it was tradition) is enough of a reason to make us all sit down and shut up. In spite of the fact that their actions are going to do the opposite of making the world feel larger and more alive, for reasons many, many people have pointed out already.

What a load of bollocks. It tires me that I like a specific thing and then the fun police comes in.
For instance the old dalaran portal made it easier for the alliance to get to the love is in the air quest, whose name eludes me (something about crushing the crown).
Also is it possible to get a flag for blue posts where one can click to show that they disagree with the post? It would make it easier for the metrics be gathered on how much the community disagrees (you could make it so the flag can be clicked only once account)

You know, a lot of people would be happy if you would actually use that time to implement features, make classees more fun to play, or balance things.

Perhaps I’m missing something please help me out. Your post sounds like Blizz listened to player feedback and “. . . followed that feedback through to the conclusion that you’re seeing on the PTR.” But I can’t find any evidence of anything that has been changed about the the elimination of portals on the PTR. What was changed based on the player’s feedback?

I am going to add something to this response.
I always forget there is this portal so I actually just ignore this content because it just isn’t worth the travel time to me. This is what happens without that portal.
