"Realms not Available" Error message

For the past 2 weeks, every time I log in to play WoW I get an error message that says “Realms not Available.” I have tried to repair the game, I have tried logging out and logging back in, I have tried completely restarting my computer multiple times, I have even tried uninstalling and reinstalling the game but I keep getting the message. I have game time until June as a gift from a friend of mine and would much rather not waste their money. It is getting the point of frustration and I’m starting to remember why I stopped paying for game time to play. Can anybody give me an suggestions on anything else to try to fix this error so I can get the money’s worth of time to play?

Thanks for any help!

maybe it is a connection issue.
or some type of fail ISP blocking the high ports which effect your loggin into the game, so try using VPN and see if that will help.

Theres a specific file in the Wow folder that points the code towards a server stack. Manipulation of that file is how private servers get the stock client to connect to them.

I dont recall where it is because its been about 7 years since i set foot on a Pserver but thats the issue. If you cannot locate and repair that file yourself you may need to simply reinstall the client.

Edit: just noticed you said youd already done an uninstall and reinstall. If thats the case, its a firewall/AV issue that youll need to find and tweak as the client isnt able to connect to the server stack.
