when i log in all the realms come up incompatible

same here i just started playing again and figured it was typical update tuesday stuff
Had that just happen, closed out battle net and restarted it an it started an update…
Hey everyone!
If your Realm Selection menu is showing incompatible realms, this means that your local version of World of Warcraft does not match the live client version. Simply closing the game and then fully exiting the Battle.net Desktop App, and then restarting it, should prompt the game to update. If not, try these steps.
If the issue persists through reinstalling the Battle.net App or the game itself, this indicates that something is preventing the update. If you have an antivirus installed, it could mistakenly identify the Update Agent as a security threat if the antivirus is not fully up-to-date. Adding this since it happened to me as well:
A system restart fixed it. Apparently Windows needed to update and somehow that prevented WoW from updating.

Check your task manager, I had that issue and found there was some remnant of the WoW client still open, when I closed that it started the update in battlenet.
