Why are the realms down today and how long will they be down for?

Don’t people read the announcements in the launcher? It says maintenance between 7 am and 8 am PDT. These are always listed there.

I really need to get that app to play wow on my phone… Though idk how well it would work when I’m at work lol. Want to play right now so bad
The CLEARLY VISIBLE white sticker at the top of the launcher said why and how long. They also post on twitter/x @BlizzardCS. Checking both of these takes less time than making a forum post.

Maintenance to fix their maintenance from yesterday.
Always thought it was interesting that they post maintenance updates on Xwitter but not these forums. 
Servers go boom? I was in and got kicked out just now…
