All I can say to these people is that they need to dream bigger and set wiser goals. If their dream was to capture a meaningless title in a 15 year old game, maybe it’s time for them to reevaluate the direction their life is heading.

With servers being much larger than they were in Vanilla and some having 2 layers, are the War Effort Material requirements being scaled up to match these larger sizes?
One of my goals for classic was to be a scarab lord. I have the time and knowledge to do it. I got tired of being on a pvp server so decided to go back to my RP server roots. My vanilla friends are on the RP server too. It would have been nice to at least get some kind of disclaimer from blizz when transferring letting me know ALL the things that happened. Now I have to hope that the gates don’t open for the first month to be able to do it myself.

Can we get a update on when transfers will open up to Whitemane and other Full realms? I have a 60 on a diff server i want to transfer here to raid since the other server is nearly dead

How are you gonna announce a 90-day lockout within 30 days of the event? That means for 2 months people were transferring around not knowing there was any consequence you would later throw onto them.

They don’t care about your concerns. I ended up having to leave Whitemane because of the locking.
And of course because of that transferring…I’m now ineligible to be a gong banger and get the rewards.

Blizzard owes every single person who transferred before their announcement but within the 90 day period. We’re being punished for no reason and if you talk to customer support they’ll do nothing but give you the run around and tell you to post on this thread.
Well this thread has been full of complaints since it was posted and ain’t a damn thing changing. Blizzard doesn’t care that they screwed people over, well when it comes time for my subscription renewal they’re gonna be out at least my money.
You’re being punished by your own assumptions. Period. You ASSUMED something that was incorrect. When Blizzard realized that players were talking about it, they made this blue post announcement – 31 days ago.
Blizzard is not in the business of invading your mind and making sure that all your assumptions are correct. Blizzard does not “owe” you anything for YOUR assumption, that YOU made before their announcement.

This is not a realm-hopping game. Certaintly the original AQ event (2005? 2006?) was not designed as a realm-hopping event.
Any time you choose to use realm-hopping as a strategy, you are obviously playing the game in a way that was NOT designed. It is not reasonable to “assume” that Blizzard designed an event (in 2005) to support realm-hopping strategies.
Some players In Classic (2019-2020) use realm-hopping strategies. That was the CAUSE of the whole queue/overpop/transfer-locking problem.
Perhaps Blizzard should never have allowed realm-hopping in Classic. But they allowed it.
