The only thing shared regarding the AH is the fact that items from both Horde and Alliance are now freely exchanged rather than the old neutral AH at Booty Bay or Gadgetzan. Economies are still per realm so that aspect hasn't changed
Edit: This does not however take into account servers that are merged, such as mine and Spinebreaker and Gorefiend and Eredar for example. Not entirely sure how those are handled so I can't speculate without the possibility of spreading misinformation
trying to transfer my pally to different realm and i have over 32k gold on him. the error is saying i have too much gold to transfer the character.

The amount you can take is level based. It should tell you how much you can take when you try to make the transfer.

If you pay attention to the color of the name of the seller, you will see that one shows up in white and one shows up in a pale blue color. That is how you tell the difference on who is your realm or merged realm. I believe white name means on your realm and the light blue is merged realm.

Thank you for posting this. Today was gonna do a transfer but to much coin, did not tell me anywhere how much. So again thank you for your post.
Yeah It’s insanely stupid that you can only transfer certain amounts of gold. I’m assuming It’s blizzard just trying to milk more character swaps out of people.
