3pm now…all of a sudden from 1 hour to 8 hours, no explanation

something to do with Cata Phase 3, they must share the same servers backend

I was going to skip hockey this afternoon for HARDCORE ACTION! Guess I’ll go be social with real people.
Edit: Nice to see blizzard removed the maintenance warnings on launcher and log in screen. :frowning:

I’ve been playing off and on for 20 years now… I’m not sure I can recall them ever explaining anything. It would be FAR more satisfying if they said something like “we had a hard down in Austin DC cluster and we’re trying to get a replacement for a core server as fast as possible” instead of “lol nvm 1 hours now 8 hours kk thx bai” which is pretty disappointing transparency/customer-service, etc.

Also WWT hotfixes… this may be a long one… why affect an unaffected server ugh…
