How come, when selecting a realm, is the type not listed as PvP or PvE? They are just listed as normal which could be either. I just looked at all the marked servers for New Players and they are all type normal, but when I looked them up they are all PvP except for 2 of them. How is a new player to tell the difference in the type of server they want to play on.

Blizzard please add PvP or PvE to the Type selection on Realm Selection menu. Seems like a no brainer idea.

Because PvP realms don’t exist anymore.

Warmode is our replacement- every realm is opt-in to PvP or PvE.

The old style of PvP realm still exists in Classic, where it’s permanently on.

As Marsius said, PVP realms were changed to Normal realms with the introduction of War Mode. This goes for the old RP-PVP realms as well. They’re just RP realms now.

There are no PvP or PvE servers.
