a server to cater to a very small group of players, we all know that it works better that way so we don’t have to read the blatant global RP that no one likes.
you will just have to ignore people, and get wrecked by the real pvprs, its ok because that is what classic wow is all about.

Doesn’t work that way. RP is its own specific rule set. It requires its own server type.

play the same game everyone does, asking for a server, thinking you are above everyone else.
Excited to obliterate you in game.
RP servers don’t necessarily have to cater to people being literally in character all the time. It’s basically just a place for people who take the lore and their characters slightly more seriously.
There are some people who choose to live in character and that’s fine but mostly it’s for folks that want to make the game more of an adventure in a living world instead of just zerging to max level for the raids, while trolling chat with politics and all sorts of off topic crap the entire way.

Blizz added only one RPPVP server for SOD and everyone complained because it was “too crowded”.
It just sounds like you guys want a private server for you and 20 other people who actually RP. It’s pointless to split the already SUPER small community even further.
This is why every server is dead.

The roleplaying community is pretty sizeable; that’s being demonstrated here on the forums, and the launch of Grobbulus was incredibly successful back when the original classic was released. I can’t speak for Cataclysm (especially since Cataclysm as a whole seems to have struggled), but there are presently very popular roleplaying realms on retail, so people are definitely still roleplaying.

How about this…if there’s an RP realm, I’ll roll there. You roll wherever you want. And we’ll both be happy and never even have to know what the other is doing.

A lot happened on Season of Discovery from what I’ve heard; but it’s generally agreed that it wasn’t the fault of the actual roleplayers. A RP-PvP realm would only bring the realm count to 5, with one being Hardcore and one being region-based; the server populations should be perfectly healthy.

What are you talking about? RP-PvP has CONTINUOUSLY been the most healthy servers from 2019 and SOD with Grobbulus and Crusader Strike.

I just don’t understand how you think you’re being damaged by other people having a server they want to play on.
Please explain to us how your experience in your l33t streamer PvP epic lOoTz raidz chad server is at all affected by the existence of an RP realm.
Guess what: They’ve always been there as long as you’ve been playing and here you still are, so it couldn’t have been that bad m, right?

Well there’s 2 era RP servers and like 80 PVP servers, so yeah obviously.
No idea wtf you’re talking about.
Easy concept, more servers, more split community.
A few weeks down the line and the number of players is gutted. It happens every time.
PvP server is flooding everywhere to not have RP PVP realms. Coordinated effort, kinda funny they’re so worried about how others play the game.
